Phantom's Departure

Phantom was visiting so he could be mated with Spice. We were going to use Truffie but he is too soft and is not up to the task of a first timer. So we brought Phantom in and her next time it will be with Truffie.

This sometimes happens.

Phantom will be travelling tomorrow to Stouffville to friends that are going to a show Paula is in this weekend. So he had a bath today.

He is always such a delight and always a good boy.

We had a fun day of running in the back yard. The weather is fantastic. We watched X-factor. I groomed. We played retrieve in the house and soon I will feed and groom the Scruffster as he departs and Logan and Panda who go back home at this time. The 3 came for a day visit and had a ball.

Miss Daisy blanketed my neck while we watched x-factor, Fiona was on my feet, Kat on my lap. It was fun.

To all the Canadians reading this blog I hope you all have a very enjoyable Thanksgiving.

We have a surprise on Thanksgiving night that we will share then.

What are we thankful for? All of you that love your pups so. Now that is special!

Darlah and Nathan Happy Thanksgiving to you and all your family and of course the all the dogs and pups! So nice to see Phantom daddy to my Tre. Still in DC but will be home Sat pm. Can't wait to see my pups. Little Tre has been trying out the'new girl' who is staying in my house with the dogs. Texted her a few tips and Tre seemed quite amazed that she did know the rules. Wee devil :) Looking forward to the surprise ! Take care all, thinking of your grand daughter hope she is doing better.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!! Can't wait to hear about the surprise, but I bet I can guess. Brie continues to be a joy to our lives. See is soooo full of character.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! This is our first one with Scruffs and we have plenty to be thankful for. I am especially thankful that Darlah is extremely kind and sweet and patient and did not yell at me for Scruffy's disastrous condition today with oh so many knots and for throwing her so off schedule! Darlah, you are wonderful :)

Every day Scruffs makes us laugh and smile and fills our hearts with more love than we ever thought possible. I'm sure everyone shares my sentiments with their own beloved doggies. Have a great weekend everyone!

This may sound odd, but the back of Phantom's head resembles Scruffy's.....i wonder if I'm just imagining it....can i say he resembles his dad from the back?

Lori: No that sounds bang on. They lay similar. I just had Phantom here and if I had known I would have taken a photo of their backside next to each other. :-) Phantom was delivered to a friend that took him to Paulas today at a show she is in with Envy in North Bay. It took me 50 minutes to get to the friends house - knew her old house but not this one. They are out in the middle of no where on a main drag. hahahaha It saved us a 4 hour trip each way. :-)

Jane so what are you guessing? It's not that Treasure or Spice is preggie as I don't know that yet. :-) Give Brie a hug from us. Hoping you have a great Thanksgiving. This is the 1st year I am not making a turkey. <sigh>

Gerda: Hope you are having a fabulous time. Oh good old Tre - keeping one on their toes. Personally, I love a dog that tries it out. You just have to remind them - no. hahahaha It means that mind is thinking. Phantom is a delight - always is. He's so laid back like Truffie. Truffie did a backflip on the cover - not on purpose. I wish I had the video camera. He was looking at me as if to say - what the hey was that! Hope it happens again. It happened when I was running around the pool getting the dogs going and they all charged up along side of him and up and over he went. He wasn't afraid - just mighty confused.

I love it too ! Have to keep an eye out as I think my puppy sitter wants to take him home. She loves all the dogs but I think Tre holds a special spot and I can't blame her ;) love that Truffie too . Yes DC had been great fun but very hot and humid . Today was much less which was great for sight seeing.
