Thanksgiving Day

I hope everyone has had a nice long weekend. I cooked turkey today and shared with the dogs. They were in love with warm turkey. They also had a feast. 

Despite it not being a butterball, I did manage to keep it moist and tasty. Everyone enjoyed it including me.

The dogs were chasing squirrels today. Many departed - some arrived for the day and some remain. It's a splendid house of great vibes.

Cool But Fun

It is Thanksgiving weekend. We won't have turkey till tomorrow. but then the dogs will feast too!

It is cool outside but the dogs are truly enjoying cooler. 

When Dennis came home at 4amish, he said he saw so many rabbits out and about. Dennis was at a sleep clinic and if you wake up at 4am, they send you home, it seems. No subway at that hour. I was amazed at this. 

Nes and Milo departed today. They are missed already. 

My printers are going heavily. I made a winter scene for Sherry that lights up. It is a surprise. LOL

Change of Guards

Milo has had a wonderful visit here. He departs tomorrow and I imagine he will be excited to go home but also wishing some of his pals came along with him on his departure.

Evee arrived today and Yoshi was beyond excited to see her. I think Nathan got a video of them.

Dennis is off to a sleep clinic tonight so I will be doing his job and mine tonight and tomorrow morning so I may be short on the blogs. We shall see. LOL Ty is especially fun today. For an old dog, he gets these bursts of energy and I swear he smiles. 

Everyone has had fun today. I did do a run with them outside. Some cut me off as if to say I WON and others follow. It is a personality thing.

Fun to Be Had

I have to laugh at Brodie and his one ear look. He actually has an ear on the otherside but you can't see it in this photo.

Brodie is doing really well these days. He waits politely for his food. He no longer tries to cut someone at the pass. He is polite - manners. He also has some great fun and he enjoys the younger dogs. Why? I think it is simply their kind of fun! 

Winston, Buddy, Brodie and Skyler arrived today. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Food was steak and cheese added into the kibble. Yum! Nathan picked up a turkey (no name brans - lol) so we will have a feast this weekend and that includes the dogs. I will just have to poke it and make it moist frequently. I wish they had butterballs but we waited too long.

Rain Rain and More Rain

We did have the dogs out for a bit but we have had off and on rain. So, we have a mini gallery.

Ty picks a bed up high - one of the most comfortable and settles in after sniffing the air and realizing it is wet outside, others do as well. It is as if they are allergic to the rain. I laugh. Wait till the white stuff comes. 

I played a run game today indoors. It was a riot. I like to do it outdoors as you simply have more room but today they ran after me and jumped and jumped all over me as some dogs are simply faster than me. I am such a slacker - it is funny but boy did we have fun. It helps to keep me in shape and they have a riot of a time. Ty, being a senior just cuts everyone off at the pass. He doesn't have ti run. He just gets in front of it and says winner winner. LOL

I am behind. I finally got my printer sorted out. I still have things to do with it but we want to laze around after my blogging. Snuggle with the dogs and watch something good. All I am missing is POPCORN. Can't have everything!

The Kershaw dogs are staying for another couple of weeks. They LOVE LOVE the run game.

The Comfortability

I have to say Nava hates grooming and she would scream and act out every chance she got. I couldn't figure it out why she acted out. She does go to Florida so has had other groomers but still. So her mom has her coming every couple of weeks for a comb out and then a bath and full groom. Well, after doing this for months and months, the last two times she kissed me over and over. Didn't complain and its a complete difference in her attitude. I do not know what precipitated it but months of conditioning and she is not vocal or squirmy at all. I am so impressed! Patience and it all comes together.

Ellie and Coco was here for a groom and play. 

Rain is doing well without pups at night. Sometimes they fret for days but she is fine and then so excited to see them in the morning.

The Kershaw dogs are doing really really well. No rubbing on the ground so staying clean and Dennis is so diligent, it is ridiculous making sure there is nothing to roll on.

Ty is here and doing absolutely great. Never saw him so animated and having fun as of late. He so likes it here and I am glad. 

Milo is now coming inside in the middle of the pack. He usually stays back and then comes in but not anymore. I have to say this visit is great for him. I could go on but I am not going to bore you. The dogs are having fun and tonight they had steak.

Time to Blow?

Is it time to blow the leaves? Almost but watch the leaves will fall. The dogs will jump through the piles and Dennis job will become more difficult - me too as I take leaves out of them. 

Ty is here fascinated by the squirrels and birds and I mean fascinated. Some tune in, others not. It is similar to the tv. If Nathan has any animals on, the Kershaw 4 bark at the tv but not all do. It is a riot!

Do you think we are taking in our plants? Dennis says - I don't care if they DIE. I said, I do. But he says I have the upstairs puppy pen to do so we will look tomorrow. Thanks, Dennis....

It has been a busy day with grooming, puppy play and clean up. 

I am still fighting with Bambu so we shall see where this goes. It is a frustrating daily saga.

Dogs have been playing really crazy so they are tired now that they have eaten.

I had to look. is this Monday? LOL

Motley Crew

Here is a mini gallery.

Well, we had a fun day. Maisy quicker than lightening found rabbit poo and rubbed her face in it. It was located under the brush so you couldn't see it so Dennis crawled under and removed every last bit. I washed her face but she was NONE too happy with me. Dogs being dogs... Then Raven's hair was redone and she smooshed her face all over but she doesn't look nice and neat at the moment. I will have to redo it but it is out of her eyes. The other 2 were fine. I just have to laugh. It is rare that I have to wash just a face and get this - she was proud of herself. 

Jaclyn decided to put Logan down. I had bathed and gave him a cut a couple of days ago and he had a hard time standing. He had a seizure and he was non stop vomiting. You have to understand that he was here a significant amount of days a month here. We have lost a number of dogs as of late. I know there is a life cycle but it is just hard. I was thankful that Jaclyn shared him with us as much as she did. The ones we do not see is tough. I get it but still tough. 

Dogs played a bunch today. They love this cooler weather. I have to admit, I do not. I took in my orchids and we have to bring in the big pots soon. Leaves were falling as I was bringing them in and Boo was scattering them everywhere. The dogs were so full of it today. That cold is really coming.

Is it a yawn today or grand fun? I am laughing as they are having an outstanding time today. 

Everyone is having a blast and we are about to sit down and watch tv. We all need a rest after running around like banshees.

He so loves his food.

Milo was outdoors chasing a rabbit at full speed. He never caught the rabbit but he sure looked like he was having fun trying to catch it.

The other dogs watched with fascination. It made for a fun day as if they were at a sporting event watching intently.

The dogs had fun. It was cool outside and we did have rain. As soon as it got semi dry, they were outside. I swear some have an aversion to wet.

Dancing and Playing

Gus and Buddy are here as Gus's parents are getting married. Huge congrats!!

It has been raining today. They brought in leaves and mud and oh those muddy paws. It's been a cleanup day. 

They did play and did a fair bit of dancing and playing. 

Tomorrow Chase and Logan depart after grooming. Rain coming tomorrow too. 

The dogs are having so much fun, they all took a 2 hour nap.

In and Out

Benji just departed. Keke departed a bit earlier and Nava will depart in a couple of hours. Mr. Leo arrived!

The dogs had the animal channel on while I groomed and many were fascinated with the sounds. It was a great distraction. I will have to try it again.

Dogs had fun. No run today but we did do thehide the treat game. They always have a blast with THAT!

It Has Been a Chill Day

The dogs played. They had fun and they literally ran with me to the point they said - done. I was done too. Some - especially the older dogs watched with glee. 

It felt cool today though it was warmish. 

Some chose to nap. Others choose to be active. It is all about choice. 

Cloudy Day

You don't think he just watches tv in the tv room. He steals kisses and snuggles and the dogs love it.

It has been a day. We have been in and out plenty of times. We had a run. We did hide a treat. The dogs have had fun and now they have started eating dinner. 

I treated myself with double layered popcorn from the movie theatre.

Some dogs want food so much that they give Dennis the look - a stare down - as if they are saying you are 15 minutes late and I know it and they do!

Sunday Sunday

We had a ton of play today. The mix of dogs are absolutely some of the best. We also had several old dogs - like 17 years old dogs here and they were doing okay. Sometimes - like humans - one here and there live longer than most. 

It was a splendid day warmth wise too and everyone enjoyed that.

My 3d printer was shipped out today. I had to jump through many hoops. I have had so much fun that if they don't refund me, I am considering seeking an attorney - joy not. Just hope they do the right thing.

Lachlan and Marlie (forget how they spell his name) really are thick as thieves. They adore each other. It is funny how relationships develop and they are really great for each other. Marlie coming into Lachlan's life was the best thing for him. We see it everytime they are here.

Mighty Comfortable

Lachlan looks mighty comfortable as he is. I had 2 dogs that was seriously matted that got groomed today. I have a slew tomorrow so my plan was to cut down and bath some tomorrow and finish them but I only got to 2 and I am too tired and it is too late as I have videos to upload before I go to bed.

I listened to Nathan tell me how hard he is working and well okay but let's trade - can we? 

I set up the puppy pen, laundry out my ears, vacuumed, cleaned, did floors and that is the partial list. Now to be rude - and I do not like to be - if your dog is heavily matted, you should seriously tip me. That's just being nice and my tips go to things I wouldn't be able to afford otherwise. Not a requirement but my matted people usually give me nothing. Some tip me and well it is deeply appreciated. On one dog I worked for 3.5 hours dematting and the other 4 hours. There goes my day. Groomers work hard. Nathan's hard is different. LOL Sorry just have to vent.

The dogs did have fun and yes, Nathan played with them. Dennis took some photos but not enough. He has a pass as he was working on the dryer with me - yes did that too.

My return printer is still waiting for an RMA but it is the weekend in China. They said they have to go over the printer before I am refunded. Do you trust that> They requested photos og each step that I sent. I like a microsd card in it by accident which was significant in cost but not opening the box again and they have to inspect that my photos are real? WE SHALL SEE HOW IT GOES.

In 45 minutes after uploading videos, cleaning the xpen, I have dishes to do. Then I am crawling into bed and snuggling with dogs - hah!

Warm Fall Day

Finally got the return printer boxed up fully to their exact guidelines. It was not fun. I still await an RMA and hoping the printer gets shipped Monday. As this heads to China and the company is in China, all communications start at 10pm at night as it is 10am there then the next day. I am printing now with the new one. 

The dryer is not fixed. My grooming table is still out in the hall as I need the dryer fixed before I get to move it all back. 

Yesterday my watch band was ripped by a dog I was grooming. Thank you to Amazon as I got same day delivery for silicone watchbands really cheap. These stay firmer on my wrist so maybe I need to thank the dog.

The two brothers are here - Lachlan and Ollie and with Lachlan's sidekick Marlie. The 3 appear very tight. It is nice. As usual, the 4 Kershaw dogs are making new friends and playing less with each other. It always happens till they go home. It is like a party making new pals and renewing new ones.

Ms Coco the Maltese likes to be a bossy pants. It makes me laugh and laugh.

Busy Day

Just been too busy of a day. Our dryer is broke and the parts just arrived. I had grooming to do and my replacement printer arrived and that means I need to box up the printer and take photos, reassemble it etc. It's not done. I want it boxed up tomorrow but the new printer is working. 

We can't do laundry so I am hoping tomorrow.

The dogs still managed to have fun. I did end up grooming as well as doing the printer.

I am exhausted but no running today. We had more of a chill day - well the dogs did. Not me!!

I have printer stuff, my grooming table, dryers etc out in the hall till the dryer is fixed so if you come, ignore the mess.

Not Bad for Fall

I have to reassemble my 3d printer and pack it up and I need to do it today. It is complicated but I asked Chatgpt for visual help. Its been so long that I can't figure out what goes where. LOL My new printer comes tomorrow and I will have to set that up. Dennis is downtown so I may be on my own as nathan can't lift so .... but maybe I will be printing tomorrow after a few weeks of dealing with a broken printer.

Dogs are tired of me moping around. They told me so - well in my mind.

The weather wasn't bad today. 

I need to migrate this site over so I can havecomments etc. They tell me it will take 7 to 10 days that I have not had so here we try to upload updates many many times over till it shows up. 

It was birthdays for pups 1 years but couldn't get the photos to hold. Sometimes I try about 10 times and it works. Yesterday I tried getting the 1 year old birthday photos up and tried 19 times and it kept staying in draft. Apologies. I am so trying.

Dogs did run with me. I am doing so little supernatural that i need to and well the dogs love it so it makes up for my slacking.

Wasps are in abundance. We need to take plants in.... I want less work not more and the dogs want me to have less too.
