Long Weekend Weather Fun

Rain, rain, groom, groom but dancing, wrestling fun was had. I had to delay 2 grooms till Tuesday as I ran out of time.

We have sticky seeds on a weed that Dennis is feverishly pulling out. You see they are in the hair on teh dogs and guess who has to remove them and it's NOT easy. Poor Benji had them throughout his coat as while Dennis was pulling, he kept trying to figure out what he was doing. I had a fun time these last 2 days but come Wednesday I am OFF. I mat stay in bed all day. Now that would be crazy but I need to do something fun. Sleeping all day is NOT fun. lOL Give me a dog or 2.. well then...

Lots of Fun

Bailey and Benji have been playing non stop.

We had Brewer for the 1st time since he moved and it was great to see him. He walked in - well almost ran in excited beyond imagination. It was fun to see.

As it is busy, I have been grooming a great deal and will all this weekend. So blogs will be mostly photos - if that is okay.

Everyone is having a total blast. Frannie and Rocky depart today. A number arrived.

Tomorrow Benji (not wee pup) Bailey and Bailey - yes 2 Bailey's depart. Tuesday quiet times again.

Start of Long Weekend

It's been a day. I had a lot of grooming same all weekend but we had pups and they si was full if it. I had to dry 2 of the pups 3 times as they, after they were groomed played in the water bowls. I finally pick up the water 20 minutes before they departed so they looked like they were groomed. I did upload a few videos of their play.

I think I have Daisy's collar - argh.

All the adults have a tight fit. They all enjoy each other. Ollie departed. So did Coco, Daisy, Pepper and Vivi. Ringo departs tomorrow. He truly likes the dogs that are here. I swear I catch him smiling.

Today Tchibo looked at me as if to say really you are coming me out again? It has been a great day after the rain stopped. No swimming but a great day!

Oh the Conversations

I brush Tchibo out and this is how he ends up with the gals. Can you think up a caption? I look at this photo and I think Chloe is saying - he's mine. LOL

As this is a long weekend, we are busy. I will take it as we surely have a gas line to fix. I also truly miss the dogs and it's bloody nice to see them again!

Rebel is a mess and Nathan said she needs a bath. I said okay - the sink is empty - you can do it. Is she done? LOL I have a very busy schedule of grooming the entire long weekend so when I eat one of the weekend days maybe he will get her done. I am so laughing. I bet I will be doing her on Tuesday.

It was a no swimming day. It looked like rain that never came. oh well.

I need to weed but that will wait.

The dogs are having a blast. I swear they are teenagers and I will let your mind go wild with what that means.

Rain and More Rain: Gallery Added

It's a no gallery day though I am trying to pull a gallery off. The site that I use to upload all the galleries to is not cooperating. I have submitted a ticket so we shall see.

This is Tchibo and Maddie. They have been playing like crazy and so has everyone else but I can't show you as well those gallery holding site - it's not working. Oh, I said that already.

It's my day off and I have been spending it organizing. Now that is crazy. It looks like Ronnie and I may be able to sit outside for dinner. We shall see. I am not even eating lunch.

I had cold coffee this morning as well I do not do decaf. Microwaving coffee - ih my. Then I checked my junk mail and Laurie sent me a Keurig arriving tomorrow. I want to pay you for that. I wasn't posting to get one but thank you truly for thinking of me. I was posting as the process of attempting to find a solution is crazy as Nathan has all these restrictions these days and caffeine is one of them. I need caffeine to stay awake. He takes naps. I can't. How do people and do they change everything to do the restrictive thing as one family member is restricted?

The dogs do not have a clue nor do they care. They just want to be fed good stuff. They want massages, cuddles and well NO RAIN. I want the last part too. Mother Nature says... I do not CARE!

If the gallery gets fixed, I will put it up later tonight and if not I will get 2 galleries tomorrow.

Puppies and Olders

Jersey, Coco the havanese and Coco the Maltese was here - the littler set.

The dogs had a blast. Jersey is now home. Coco the Maltese is now home and Coco the havanese remains. The puppies took a nap with Nathan today. Jersey got washed and groomed but it seems no photos of her freshly groomed. Argh. Not sure if the videos you will see.

Frannie was caught today on her back on a bed on high sleeping the hour away. I ran to get the camera and of course she got up. argh

Tchico seems to have all the girls after him. They just adore him.

It was a hot day today - rain tomorrow. Of course it is my day off. Got to laugh at that cause what else can you do? I wish I had got a swim in. Oh well.

Hot Day and Moms

Misty is back to swimming. Instead if the stairs each time, she managed to jump off the side.

For whatever reason, the moms was slow to play recovery. Spirit is finally back to investing her time with Rebel and Sage is back to swimming. I think swimming is the key.

We went to Ribfest. It was strange. Tenshi came over for the day. That was quite nice.

Lexi gal departed. She had a blast. Maddie is in love with Tchibo. Tchibo wants to nap and there she is so now Tchibo is napping with Nathan. LOL He likes his naps uninterrupted so we accommodate.

Tomorrow we get to see Coco the maltese. It has been awhile.

It is Dennis day off tomorrow. Mine is Tuesday and Tuesday night Ronnie and I are going out to eat on a patio close by. I am looking forward to it.

I live on coffee but now Nathan has to have decaf so I either need to get him something that keeps his decaf hot so I can have my caffeine or get a pod coffee maker. Nathan wants me to join the land of decaf. I need the coffee. So no solution but an exploration of attempting a solution. Pod machines are not cheap. Sounds like a minor problem that is whose coffee should be microwaved and whose should not. I will leave you with this - heh.

Before and After Rain

We have been raining since late mprning. This is Lexi before teh rain hit. She departs tomorrow.

Frannie arrived today. THey placed her down and in she ran inside wagging her tail. It has been since before the pandemic since I seen mom, dad and Frannie. It was so great and she brought chocolate to Dennis. He was thrilled - absolutely.

It got real steamy before the rain hit. Here is Tchibo, Maddie and Lexi.

The crew sat out with me on the couch and watched the rain fall down. Nathan did his laps while it was raining and the crew watched but no one attempted to go in including our mad about swimming crew. What did they know that Nathan didn't?

Brewer has departed and is moving into his new home. He has lived around the corner from us since he got him and now he is down in the Beaches. Hope to see him soon. Hope he adjusts fast.

I have my brushes, combs etc sitting in a solution in my grooming tub four a few hours and I just NOW thought of it. usually they sit for an hour and they come out like new. Can they get better than that? LOL

Time to go see.

Hot One Today

Some went swimming. Ollie decided - not today. We will try again tomorrow. We finally have weather for it and today I had grooming and more grooming but get this Nathan combed out those that swam.

Lexi, Adele and River dropped in today, Harlow departs any minute. Brewer is here till tomorrow. He has a new home to go to. I hope he loves it! Ms Gucci visited for a short bit. Tomorrow Tchibo and Frannie are coming. Going to be so fun.

Benji so loves the gals. He so loves the play.

The most fave place in the yard is on the couch. I put the sides down and they laze all over it. It's my fave too.

Nathan swam. I did not. It is his day off so he gets to do whatever he wants and that means he is out at the pool reading and chillin'. 

We have Ripley here and he really likes a certain gal here.

Adele and River are coming for the weekend. Our daughter is going away tubing and our grand kids are working or going to Montreal. We get the dogs. 

On Sunday we are going to do ribfest. It is usually held at Richmond Green but not this year and you order in your car and it gets delivered to your car. I look forward to it every year but a driveby is sort of interesting. Nathan looked at me with rolling eyes when I told him I registered him to do this on Sunday. He loves me - he loves me not. LOL

Tomorrow George the Yorkie comes. He visited us on a test run and really did well. It will be fun, fun, fun.

Weather better get hot. We need a swimming pool marathon.

Nice Day Out

Coco Spirit's pup arrived and she is crashed out on Nathan as I type. She has been playing all day. You will see some photos of her. She departs tomorrow, What a wonderful addition.

Sherry came over and brought sandwiches and poutine. She was going to swim but didn't feel it was warm enough. By the time she departed it was so I had my 10 minutes or so in the pool.

The gas line is a fiasco. If I posted photos, you would laugh. It has to go under the ground and our next door neighbour is not happy. I can't blame him. It is a WTF moment and that's an understatement. We move on...

I have a TON to weed out back. It's bad but there is life.

Our daughter is bringing Adele and River tomorrow while they go tubing this weekend. People are starting to go places and that's rather nice.

Dogs are begging me for pistachios. heh

TV time all over us tonight. Fun, fun, fun!

Rain, No Gas and Dematting

I do not want to talk about any of it but here is the gallery.

It rained. The air is finally clear though some haze way above. I can breathe. Poor Dennis has asthma so outside was deadly.

I did put up a video that Nathan took of Marlie, Benjamin and well Ollie. You will see why i said well Ollie. LOL

Hazy

I am posting a photo of Daisy as she was doing the moving target thing and then finally just stood there. It can be quite the challenge capturing moments. Daisy was here for the day. She plays as if she has been on restriction and its covid free time. LOL On a serious note, she is such a play monkey!

This is Maddie. We haven't seen her since before the pandemic. Her family had 1 baby then and now they have 3. They had twins.

The dogs have been playing their hearts out outside till now when the gas people showed up. Now outside as they have the gate open. No swimming either so I think I will do Dante's spa treatment as he departs tonight.

Coco departed. Benji and Ollie was up on the table at the same time. I would comb out one then the other. I wondered how they would do together and both actually had this fun interaction and a calming experience. It was a calming experience that they both enjoyed. I try to be creative to see if it garners a certain outcome.

I have tomatoes galore so I am getting creative with what I picked. Someone is eating my cabbage though. can no longer eat outdoors till screens are up. What a lazy thing I am. Need to get them up as summer is halfway over.

Where's Dante?

The 2 siblings are here. Lucky till tonight. Dante till tomorrow. To say they remember each other is an understatement. Spirit also has been having a grand time with them.

Ringo just departed. Brewer is here for another night. Packing for dad is not fun. Tia and Benji departed. Tia is mighty fond of Benjamin. It was touching.

Benji - yes a different Benji has taken over the couch. He's having a blast. Coco arrived and decided squirrel hunting with the gang was fun but then it was nap time.

Murphy is in the house. She sat on the outside couch and watched intently. Saffron seemed to do the same.

Ollie is like the guy at the party telling all the jokes and they gather to listen. It's a riot.

Dante departs tomorrow. It was so fun to have all the pups in the house. Amy comes for a couple of hours. Daisy a play and groom and Maddie wow Maddie we haven't seen since before the pandemic. Be still my heart getting to see some of the dogs we haven't seen in a long time. Does my heart good!

Is it Spring, No Summer and Rain?

I think we have had enough rain. Ringo really likes the coolness of outside when it is like this.

Spirit is mighty happy with having a puppy to cuddle with.

Brewer is here for overnight as human dad is moving. Best that Brewer is here vs dealing with the confusion of that. He's mighty happy and has his fave spots.

Logan and Panda dropped in for the day and Coco is here for the weekend.

It's a quiet day interesting enough but typical on rain days till someone starts running like a banshee through the house with the others in hot pursuit.

Visiting Fun Times: Gallery Added

Pingo Day Visit and GroomPingo, Charlotte, Dallas, Leo and soon Brewer all departed. Murphy boy, Benji, Tia and Benji has arrived. Yes 2 Benjis. Ringo, Dante and Harlow are here and they are having fun. Dante is such a confident being, Benji too.

It is great to have puppies.

Nathan has been getting his laps in and I have been grooming from early morn till night with not even having lunch. I si yearn and need the pool. Nathan made me chicken wings for dinner so I am trying to eat them now. I am mentally and physically tired especially today.

I think the dogs prefer this not so hot weather.

Before the Groom

After I finish the blog, I have to groom everyone. I was so busy with grooming today that I looked around and said no rest for the weary. LOL

Nathan got his 1st hair cut since February 2020. Is that right? 17 months ago? My brain may be fried but it can't be. It was a great haircut but he listened to the barber say if there is another lockdown he is out of business. It seems the loans they got to pay their rents are due to be paid back in Debruary. I didn't realize they had to pay them back. We considered as our business tanked but glad we did not. The moral of this is tip when you can. Everyone needs it and what comes around goes around.

The dogs had a lot of fun here. They always manage to. Not a day goes by that they are not enjoying and that makes me happy.

Slowly we are getting boarding. Normalcy seems to be creeping in.

Ollie is here and thinks his mom shoots the moon. It is amazing how close they are after all this time.

We got the estimate for the gas line and let's say we could buy a car. 29 days and counting till no gas. I have to laugh as I thought that was illegal. Let's move on from such depressing things.

Ripley was here was just picked up and the rain started coming down so a run to the car. I so love Ripley. He makes sure he checks in on me to get lovie. While grooming he lics both sides of my face. It's a riot! Tenshi was just picked up - umbrella time. So funny navigating rain and when we were kids we would just walk and let it fall.

Shlomo was here for the day and groom. I hear he is living the cottage life. Lucky guy!

Dante arrived and what a grand puppy boy he is. Spirit was over the moon happy to see him and he is happy, happy happy. He is playing with everyone!

Tomorrow 2 Benji's are coming plus many others for grooming.

It's going to be some truly fun days! Now to get grooming so I can get my doggie cuddles in.

Bailey departed earlier just after her groom. She was happy to see her Mommy but I bet she will sleep as she played and played.

Ringo just arrived and boy was he delighted to see everyone.

Hi Darlah and Nathan!

We cannot believe that our Leo is already one today! Time truly flies. We are so grateful to you and to momma Raven for bringing this bundle of joy into our lives!

Please Listen

Do not give vaccinations and flea and tick meds at the same time. Nor do you give rabies at the same time as a 2 way or 3 way or 4 way. The rabies should be a stand alone.  If you have a little pup that just went home and are not taking them to the cottage etc they should not have flea and tick meds till they are of a size. By giving them at the same time with a low body weight you will flood them with toxicity and they may have tremors which is a result of too many toxins in the body. Squirrel Hunting Between Rain

Yes, they were hunting those crazy beings that run along the tree and fence and they had a blast doing so. They never catch them but have fun chasing.

This is Dennis day off so I get to do the things he normally does. Due to all the rain, I do not have to water. Hooray.

Nathan is off to class - yes 2 nights in a row with Rebel. I will let him comb her out. The dogs have neen exceedingly playful today indoors running like banshees and just plain hysterical.

Nathan put my ikea storage thing together and chipped a huge chunk out of the top. Oh boy. Tried gluing - wouldn't work. Not sure he actually saved all the pieces. I thought decorating with vinyl to cover and flowers or something and then I ordered a oversized mouse pad and it will cover the deed. I am sadly disapointed but it is what it is. I can fill it and it will be useful - just damaged. LOL

Nathan just finished feeding the dogs and I need to do the dishes then he heads to class. I get to do the dogs and water, pads etc till he gets home at 815ish. 

Pablo and Rosie has departed. Brewer departs soon. Mr. Ollie arrives tomorrow. Tenshi departs Wednesday or Thursday.
