Cold and Snow

Here is the gallery.

Yes, in April it snows. The dogs do not mind but we do. Every year we are shocked by snow in April but it always arrives. Dennis birthday is April 17th and it snows more times than not on his birthday. We are so trying to call our pool people off as we feel it is too early tomorrow but he has not returned our call. We shall see.

Mr. Tchibo is departing tonight. Daisy is arriving tonight. 

Thank you to Tenshi's mom for the shepherd pie. We had it for lunch today - yum!

Dogs played heavily today and enjoyed but they come in and use the pads. I have to laugh. Well, less yellow snow. No matter what the weather is other than rain, they seem to make the most of it.

Play Fun Now

Wolfie is very relaxed and settling into play with the rest of the dogs. Can't do galleries again. I apologize. I am hoping by tomorrow. Everyone is having fun. 

Cold is Coming

Here is a mini gallery. It doesn't have everyone. 

Wolfie and Tchibo has made Nathan their person. One will sit on his lap and the other on his neck. They adore him.

Both Maurey and Gucci departed today. They will be missed.

Toronto will be colder than the Arctic Circle this week Southern Canada will play the role of the Arctic this week as a temperature flip brings some extreme anomalies. Our pool is supposed to open Wednesday. LOL 

We have a dental clinic I think May 1st. If interested send Nathan email.

Rain Off and On and a Gallery

Here is the gallery.

Dogs arrived - dogs departed. It is raining off and on so not much time outdoors. But they are managing some.

We still have ice on the pool and the pool is supposed to be open on Wednesday. We shall see how that goes.

It is Dennis day off but I did manage to do a gallery and it worked.

It is one of those days that all you want to do is snuggfle with dogs and watch tv. Wed have watched all Daredevil - all Severence. We shall see what else.

I am now doing highs on Supernatural and sometimes even getting 100%. How have I improved. Only level left is Pro. We shall see when I can up my level but I sometimes do Lows and Mediums and still enjoying. It is still fun. I don't have to go up a level to enjoy. Just interesting what you can do by doing it. I am getting healthier. 

I watched a video of someone that did supernatural with their border rerrier and the dog kept nipping her ankles. I would stop that but was rather comical, to say the least.

No Gallery Again

The hosting site is still looking into why the galleries aren't getting uploaded. I hope they fix it soon. It is frustrating but the dogs had fun today. It wasn't as warm as yesterday but still good enough. 

They say snow isd coming and our pool gets open on Wednesday. What a scream!

Incredible Weather

No gallery day. I have an issue with the app not allowing me to push out a gallery. It happens. We will try to add today's photos with tomorrows.

We have Willow into the vet for a broken tooth. We get to pick her up in an hour. 

Weather is great so hope to give her fresh air on my lap outdoors. We shall see what condition she is in.

Dogs are loving this warmth. It will be cooler tomorrow but still warmish.

I just finished combing out Nava. She comes on a regular basis to be combed out. She is not a fan of the combing but is getting better with each grooming session. That is what it is all about.

Then it Snows

Hard to believe we had snow but it is only April. LOL Harlow and Charlotte was enjoying it. Actually most of the dogs enjoyed. Tomorrow melt and heat - really?

Nathan said the roads were clear - well wet but no ice. My driveway is slushie. 

Tomorrow Willow gets her tooth extracted. 

It is funny that the dogs really liked going outside even though it felt bitter cold. 

It was a dog day of fun though!

Get That Fresh Air

Here is the gallery.

The dogs really enjoyed outside today. It was bright and sunny. It wasn't terribly warm but.... I opened the bedroom windows to get an exchange of air. The dogs followed me to exercise. That was a disaster as they don't get that I need to move. Tried it - didn't work out.

They followed me up to the bathroom so I could shower and with the door open, it was cold. That's okay. It was a short shower. LOL

Hazel and Socks depart tomorrow. Human dad is out of the hospital tomorrow. We celebrate that he is able to go home. Now we await hearing from both parents of Jamie and Charlotte. We hope things are going well for both. Health scares are bloody - well scary and we want you to know we are thinking of you. Jamie and Charlotte is having a great time. Jamie is attempting to be Mr. Romeo and Charlotte wants to be boss. It is sp funny.

It is Cold

Hard to believe the pool may get opened in a week. I know tomorrow will be April Fools day so do not get taken in with any jokes. You know what day it is!

Dogs were having fun despite the cold but there was no rain - bonus.

They had fun looking for the rather fat and large rabbit. We have found her too. She doesn't appear to be afraid of the dogs. It is a riot. 

I still have a dog to groom tonight and I am tired. I just finished my exercise. But groom I must.

I want to thank Ronnie and Elana for taking me out to eat last night. It was great company. Elana made me an oil painting that I need to frame but the frame I have is too small. I either have to fold over the white edges or get a larger frame. Still thinking about a solution.

Jamie seems to be in love with Ella - I mean totally in love with her. It's the 1st time on a visit that he has thought - wow I can't get enough of her. It is a riot!

No Gallery Day

It is a no gallery day. It is wet outside and inside play is best when it is so wet and muddy out back.

Jamie and Charlotte are back for an extended care. We are excited. Oakley was here and has now departed. Logan and Panda has departed.

I am off to eat with Elana and Ronnie tonight as a birthday fun night. 

Dogs are going to get a good run inside before I depart to help them chase their willys out. Then they will veg and watch tv with Nathan.

It is a rainy cold day outside. Not many guests and not many photos taken. It is Dennis day off and he is still in bed. LOL

Dogs are enjoying themselves but mostly indoors. 

Now that I have been exercising since December, I can now run the halls with the dogs and I do now and the dogs LOVE it. It brings massive smiles that I can share that with them!

Rainy Daze

Amy came for a groom. It was good ro see her. Socks and Hazel departed. 

We have hardly any photos due to the rain. But the dogs are having fun and I am playing catchup combing out the dogs here and there. 

It is Nathan's day off so he is chilling watching tv with some of the dogs. 

Last night I put on the fam and I guess the dogs were cold. I like it that way and just put extra blankets on. They were lining my body under the covers. I guess it was really cold. LOL

Ouch

Here is the gallery.

Willow was shaking as if she was afraid each time she ate. We looked in her mouth and didn't see anything so we took her into the vet. She is a highly confident dog. They found a broken tooth in the inside that was splitting most likely they said from chewing on something. The rest of her teeth looks great. So, next week they will remove it. We had blood tests done.

It is the furthest tooth to the back of her mouth in her upper jaw. I had just shaved her down as she was constantly rolling in leaves and what have you so at least she will be nice and short for IV etc. I am going to let her grow out again but after summer so she can swim without worry about having to comb her out with each swim as she so enjoys the swim. 

We are also watching Socks and Hazel and their dad had a 7 hour surgery - oh boy but we heard it went well. We are ever so thankful - very nice people indeed. We were worried but I bet his family was too. Massive hugs out to all of you! 

Nathan had to go to Lifelabs for a urine and blood test and the gal couldn't find a vein. He is bruised. She must have been new at it. He went locally and it was EMPTY. It is never empty. 

We hear an ice storm is coming this weekend - oh boy. 

Got to go comb out Logan and Panda. They depart tonight. 

It is a quiet house but a fun one. Harlow is back to eating 90% of her meals. She is also looking for rabbits so that makes me smile!

Ice Coming

Here is the gallery.

Harlow has been a bit under the weather but she is now back out looking for rabbits. I say that is a good thing as she loves it so. I do not brush them out when under weather as I do not like to aggravate them when they are not well. Think about yourself? When not well, all you want to do is rest. Now Harlow is not resting so much but I will get to comb her out in a day or two or I may just do a portion here and there. I am deciding what is best for her.

We had Daisy here. She hasn't been here for a bit. We also had Nava here to play and have a comb out. 

We are supposed to get icy rain over the weekend. Thrilling - eh?

We do have the pool booked to open the 1st week of April and they will push that back if it is icy. Can't open up when the cover is frozen. If you don't book early, you are apt to be in May for opening. Here is how it works. If the 1st week of April has ice on the cover they delay for a week. They push everyone for that 1st week to the next week and the next week's people gets moved ahead too. 

Personally the dogs, Nathan and I can't wait till swimming weather.

I want to thank Tenshi's parents for the wonderfully wrapped present in cloth. It was so pretty I didn't want to open it. LOL Goodies from Japan - wonderful!

Very Few

Here is a mini gallery.

I was invited out to Mexican food by my daughter, hubby and grand daughter. So the gallery is small. We do have Rusty and Luna here and huge thank you for the birthday gift. I can't believe how much effort Elana put into it. As soon as I can I will put it in a frame and hang it. 

Koko has found the fun of chasing the rabbits. Harlow does go looking under the brush for them. Maki thinks it is all so silly. It's all in the game of it all.

Looking forward to Mexican and hope it is good. Nathan hates Mexican so the only time I can get to eat it is the daughter or Ronnie and Elana. 

Woke Up to Snow

Can you believe snow? I can but that's okay. Dennis still didn't get many photos but take my word for it the dogs were having fun. We are actually down to just Harlow and Koko as a visitor as of tonight. It is an empty house.

Nathan took me to Vaughan Mills Mall and I got a shirt, shorts and socks. I can fit in short shorts to exercise in. I wanted something I didn't sweat in too much. Nathan got socks then we went to eat at Carmelinas on Woodbine for lunch. It was excellent. He has never been. I was there years and years ago. 

I want to say thank you to Coco the mighty little one's parents. They sent fruit and balloons. I have 3 amazing looking balloons now tied to my lamp at my desk. Deep appreciation. I also got to say thank you to Marni and Rick for a selection of cookies, candy etc. I saw Nathan stealing the cookies. Yes, I am laughing.

Nathan also changed the bedding so we had fresh sheets and blankets last night to wake up to. It's the little things that really makes you pause and go wow nice. The dogs were caught last night rolliung all over it and sniffing. We had a new softener he tried so I suspect it smelt different to the dogs. It did to me. 

Dennis and I will watch Severance and eat popcorn. Doesn't sound like much but is to me. I also get to snuggle with the dogs. Can't get better than that!

Two Blog Day

Gallery will be added to tomorrows. Jax was in the mode of bliss today running his little body in exhuberant motion.

In order for me to get tomorrow off I need to finish grooming today. 

Huge thank you to Atoosa and her husband that thought of me for my birthday and brought a present over. It is an amazing present too!  How wonderful of both of them and bonus we got to see Kandoo. 

Tomorrow we return the holter unit and Nathan said he is going to take me out for lunch. 

Nathan cleaned the sheets and blankets for the bed so we have nice smelling bedding. I hate this job so it was wonderful that Nathan did it! He found 30 - yes 30 toys in the bedding from Saffron who loves her toys. Most are chewed to death. She chews and then hides them in the blankets. Well, at 10 years old she can do what she wants - don't you think?

Murphy has given me 10 amazing years of love and fun. Looking forward to many, many more! Happy Birthday to the siblings!

What a lovely surprise! We are all well and once the pandemic  hit we became very busy with our kids getting engaged and married! We now have 2 grandchildren and awaiting another in August.
Leo has been amazing, and Frankie who is almost 15 is hanging in there.
Leo's demeanor is fiercely protective, while soft and sweet at the same time. We love him beyond words!
Hope that you are all well and enjoying all the blessings that life brings!

Our baby turned 10 today. She is so special and we love her so much and tell her so a million times a day!

To Success

Just a few eating photos.

Harlow has been through a rough patch but she is now back to eating most of the meals 3 times a day. She is back to looking for her food 3 times a day. We celebrate. Everyone ate.

It is my birthday on Monday so I have a lot of dogs to groom before then. It is a mighty crazy schedule. I hope I can fit in exercise too. After dinner I start in again to groom. That is why we only have eating photos but they did play and they were looking for the rabbit including Harlow. Ty has departed so Harlow has her bed up on high again. She wasn't up to debating with Ty over her spot. She also has another spot she likes too. 

It is Dennis day off today so no photo taking for him.

It is Messy

Here is the gallery.

When I talk about what Dennis missed cleaning up last fall, this is it and it comes in on their coats. Sometimes I am cleaning them off in bed as I snuggle and feel it caught in their coat from their last session outdoors before bed. 

The weather is even confusing the dogs. It gets warmish then cold. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. They say Monday on my birthday the temps will rise. I am excited! We are seeing birds now and the dogs are seeing them too. It is a riot! I guess real spring is coming but not yet. I so wish it did arrive and stayed. We can't always get what we want. 

Dogs played outside. Dennis ran with them. They are tv watching at the moment. They do need to chill after a good run much like humans. LOL
