It's a wet halloween - at least here so the dogs prefer indoors. Can you blame them?

Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 6:37PM Maury, Spirit's pup was here and oh my was she delighted. He was the 1st she got to see of 2 so it was extra special. What a fantastic boy comfortable with all and his entire day. He's going to be tired tonight, I bet!
Murphy gal was here too and boy she loves her sister Saffron. She has such wonderful hair and well safi has to have hers grow back in. That's okay as it will.
Sage and now Misty appears pregnant. See their blogs for due dates and xrays.

I tested cutting 110lb cardstock on my cutter and only took 4 times to get the force right. But I did it. LOL
Dennis vacuumed the leaves up - yes vacuumed as when he raked the dogs jumped in the piles. He was mighty frustrated so he took the wet and dry vac and sucked them up. Actually worked well. He was tired of cleaning the floor with leaf debris.
A good day was had. Always dogs make life better - don't you think?

I can't believe that it is already Tiger's 1st birthday. He is the perfect puppy to complete our Havanese family! He is so silly and lovable! He is loved so much by his puppy siblings and of course by us! I can't imagine our family without him! Thank you for bringing him into our lives.

Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 4:50PM Ozzie is such a happy happy boy. He so enjoys lazing on the pool cover. Most do! I should have Nathan lay on it and tell me. ROFL!
It looks like Ella was having a talk with her daughter, Nica. I have to laugh as one of the photos Nica is sticking her tongue out at her mom. Fun relationship they have and Ella is so delighted.
Miss Coco the maltese and Coco the havanese are here and both are having fun. Everyone seems to be in their element.
It wasn't a warm day nor a cold one. It was delightful for the dogs and all of you that love deep Fall.
We now have dates for xrays for Sage and Misty and approx due dates.
These days off will soon come to a close.
I am about to comb out the rest of the dogs and look at the Ikea catalogue as I am off to Ikea tomorrow. I need a way to organize my stuff but usually I walk out of Ikea with nothing. It is why I am going to look at the catalogue first. LOL
Friday, October 28, 2022 at 3:53PM Willow's boy Jimmy was here to visit for a play day and boy did they have fun. It was grand to see. He also took a nap after all this play with Nathan. It was such a special day.
Weather is not cold - nor hot - just inbetween. It is Nathan's day off. I have yet to clean my desk but I am mulling it over on my day off though going to Ikea sounds better. LOL
Dogs have been running around and chasing squirrels - yes chasing but half heartedly. It is funny to watch. Leaves keeps coming in with the dogs. Our son was supposed to come over to help move furniture in but he is sick. So, we said another time.
I woke up this morning to hearing that a dear friend died. I so want to go to his funeral but they live on the other side of Montreal. I will be there in spirit. Raven lives with Linda and took care of Bob by making him feel better while he was ill. I am ever so glad he is no longer in pain but sad for his family - Raven too - which is family. I truly love them both - good people or Raven would still be here. Just so very sad.

There was so much enthusiasm today. But - yes always a but - my kitchen floor had leaves from front to back and inbetween. It is so funny! Hey, you all - it's Fall!

Wow…5 years already. Well today is my Bonnie’s 5th birthday! Where has the time flown? She has been an absolute pleasure and joy everyday! We had rain today - still raining so Nathan didn't click. I went around to get a few photos and then the service I used is timing out each time I try to upload. I figure that must be a sign. I will play catch up tomorrow.
Dogs had fun despite the weather.
Meadow, Abby and Dash depart tomorrow. Mr. Ollie arrives for a sprucing up. It is Dennis day off and not mine till Sunday and Monday - 2 days in a row or shall I change it? We shall see.
I need to do the puppies just before bedtime as I won't have enough time at 7am to have 3 done for 10am. That's okay as both pups are great at using the pad so they can stay pristine. Besides - combouts tomorrow before departure.
Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 5:14PM We had a fun time seeing Ella's Hazel and her human gave us such a wonderful gift - allowing us to see her and a dog statue - calming that I have on a plant shelf now. How wonderful!
It was my day off today. Dennis has the next 2 days off. I had a Dairy Queen ice cream. I went to Rens and got some cheese crisps that seem to be only found at Fortinos in Woodbridge. I almost bought an orchid - love them but all of the blooms were blooming and I wanted it to last. Another place - another time - maybe on my next day off.
Sage and Misty seem to be pregnant or their bodies are appearing that way.
Abby, Dash and Hazel had a ton of fun playing and we adults had a nice chat. It made my day. Love seeing the pups. They get so excited to see you.
The dogs have been really loving this weather. Me too. No winter heavy coat.
Tenshi departs and I told Nathan it is up to him to comb her out. He said - really? Love days off. It gets him motivated. Don't tell him that.
I think it is almost tv time as Dennis has asked me when I am done the blogs. I did upload a couple of videos. I guess its dog snuggling and tv watching. That is quite okay and it is only 530pm. Lucky me. I was going to make a ceramic dog bowl - well print on it but couldn't figure out what I wanted on it. Think of a funny slogan. Any ideas?
Monday, October 24, 2022 at 3:39PM We have pups in the house and happy happy momma dogs. I mean so thoroughly happy.
The weather is good. Dash, Abby and Fudge are having an amazing time. When it came to nap time, Nathan took all 3 to bed and they completely conked out - him too. LOL Can you imagine being surrounded by pups for a nap?
It is Nathan's day off and he is so excited that he gets the day off with pups.
Dogs are having a blast and are delighted with this weather. My day is off tomorrow and Dennis gets 2 days in a row. After doing everything - the 3 of us 7 days a week - it is a treat. It won't last but - it's wonderful while it does. This good weather won't last either.
I may go to Ikea - just because or stay in bed all day. Of course if I select the latter, it has to be with dawgs.
Hope you are enjoying this amazing weather. I have a desk to clean, craft stuff to organize but not today. I have dawgs instead and that is my excuse. What is yours?
Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 2:03PM It's interesting. I go out to soak in the sun and the dogs go with me. I stay inside and they play and do this play dance. They know how to enjoy. We need to learn to enjoy too.
Nathan is taking a nap. I may too. Why not. It is quiet here and the dogs will gleefully take one all over me.
I have this old couch. I tend not to want to get rid of it. You see it has a certain sag and comfort that new couches do not have. It is starting to show its age but I will climb into it. The dogs will too and we will catch some zzzzs. This is my day off. You cherish what you rarely have.
The dogs relish this too as they get so much me time. That feels good!

Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 6:04PM If I do not make sense, forgive me. I started grooming at 7am and stopped at 545. Now blogging. Tomorrow is my day off and I earned it.
I am told by Dennis that the dogs had a ton of fun. The weather was good but they played in and out. There is a great mix of dogs here. I am afraid if I sit on the recliner, I will be catching some serious zzzs and 10pm can't come soon enough. I so hope tomorrow is warm too.
The dogs kept checking up on me while I groomed. Of course that may be motivated as I do give a small treat after grooming and they think I should spread the proceeds. Can't blame them.
I finally got to eat while I blogged. Dennis had a run with the dogs. Games were played. %$#& laundry while I groom. Can I just groom?
Waiting for pickups and then climbing into the recliner. Maybe I shouldn't but...
Maybe I will dream of something to do tomorrow.

This is Ms Luna. She was here for a haircut with her partner in crime, Rusty and she got to play with her littermate Daisy. I should have taken a photo of them side by side as it's hard to tell them apart.
Nica, Ella's littlest gal is over till tonight and oh boy she is having fun. Ella is so delighted but so is Rebel, Dash and Kinsey. Spirit sniffed her up crying to play with her and she did but then - oh she's not one of mine. Willow did the same. It is obvious they are still looking for their babies. So - for Ella's sake I am exceedingly pleased that Nica is visiting. Come December, Spirit's mom Leti will be visiting.

Dogs are loving this weather. So am I. It's how fall should be.
The sun is shining. It's Nathan's day off and I am extra busy tomorrow so I am going to enjoy the dogs and make this short.
Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 4:09PM Fall I thought was a leaves and visual experience but this year it simply means leaves dropping and rain. The dogs are actually getting sick of it. I do not blame them but they still manage to have fun inside.
We have a series of crates under our kitchen table without doors. They love to sleep, nap and well just watch. We still take them out but not all think that is a viable choice. They prefer the pads and that's okay. Can you imagine your bathroom having rain pour down on you? Think about it. LOL
We still do not have our heat on. We put it on for a day and Nathan thought it was too warm. Now it is too cold. Eventually he will give in again. That's okay as our tv room has a ton of blankets that the dogs can snuggle into and the humans. In my room where I blog, we have the same. I sometimes sit blogging with sweaters on, socks and well a blanket draping my body.
Nathan made chicken and gave the dogs toppings with it warm. They loved it.
He took an extra long nap with Dash who loves the afternoon naps. I think I would too. LOL
Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 4:17PM Ellie and Willow was out inbetween the rain. Leaves are falling. they are dragging in the debris and they love it. We keep cleaning. I wish I had a blower at the door that would blow the leaves and sticks out of their coat. I have to laugh.
Bailey was visiting. So was Ellie and Willow. Opus arrived and oh my gad everyone wants to play with him.
Dash is one of our official greeters at the door. We are conditioning him. He thinks they all came to see him.
Patches decided that the recliner is hers. Usually Brewer claims that spot but he is not here.She is mighty comfie in the dog bed on top of the recliner.
It is Nathan's day off and he decided to get a haircut for his leisure day. LOL
The dogs like the extra TV time with Nathan. How lucky they are when he has a day off. LOL
Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 4:21PM It's my day off and I got to go to Markville with Sherry. I was on the hunt for socks and of course Purdy's cherry cordials. Thank you, Sherry. Nathan combed out Murphy - well as good as he does. Me, I am not grooming today. I feel like the day is gone. How did that happen.
I come back and this puppy Dash jumps all over as if I had been gone for a year. Maybe his human mom wants to leave him and get a different puppy from the next litters? heh He is a smarty pants wonderful puzzle solver. He makes it up on the chairs now - up the stairs - oh my. He is a busy, fun boy. I am so enjoying him. Oh and his latest, barking at the reflection of himself. Today he was barking at Harlow to play and she said talk to the paw then turned her back to him. I so laughed.
Despite the rain, the dogs are so enjoying. It is wonderful to see them play as they are.
Rain, shine - it's all fun. When they are happy, I am - yep even on my day off when they are jumping all over me - it's rather fun!

Monday, October 17, 2022 at 4:50PM It is supposed to rain all week. Sounds downright dismal to me and the dawgs.
That's okay. We find things to do inside. I can't do the run game but we did a hide the treats game. I like to keep their minds busy. Sometimes I do silly things and say sit or down to the crowd and see who does it.
Puppy Dash lives up to his name. He dashes here and there. He takes deep naps and looks forward to Nathan's nap time. There are a number of dogs that do. Anyone who wants a nap is invited to share the nap with Nathan. Me, I just crawl into bed at 1030ish. I aim for 10. LOL
The dogs do full out play each day many times a day. So who cares about the rain.
Tomorrow is my day off! First day off in a very long time.
