Today's Events

Let's look at what I didn't get done.... Started the office desk didn't finish it. Started the grooming area, didn't finish it.

Charlie and Ty came to visit so bathed Charlie today - I like bathing them as we connect and get lots of kisses but it side tracked me. I needed an excuse!

Then Molly stopped by - a delight but the light was bothering me and then it dawned on me I hadn't eaten a thing all day long. Oh, well no wonder why I was getting off kilter.

Charlie tuckered Ty out so much that he crawled on the back of the couch and I swear he said nah, nah I am now taking a nap so there. It was funny so Charlie went on to the next to play. After all he is a puppy.

I did get everyone groomed but they don't look like it.

I give up on cleaning, grooming - who cares. I am just going to snuggle with the dawgs.

Besides Alfie is coming to visit (just arrived) so I have another excuse.

Tomorrow night I wash Phantom and wrap his coat so it stays clean, pack up a crate and Nathan takes him to the airport. He wanted me to as he doesn't like shipping a dog off but instead prefers picking them up. He thinks I can do it but he's supposed to be at the airport no later than 6am so I said I love you but it's not going to be me!

Besides Friday Yvonne comes for a visit. I haven't seen her forever. Then Saturday we have a Teaser puppy get together.

My hard drive should arrive by Friday so galleries and a video on Saturday I hope and my vacuums is supposed to arrive in 2 days fed ex 2 day from Halifax. Maybe Saturday will be a fun day all day long. We shall see.

Oh and Nathan is still trying to say it is I that takes Phantom. Nope...

PS: Phantom's dad Mugs is here and he is shaved down so no grooming work per se and he has an amazing personality! He too throws chocolates with a gal that has the chocolate gene.

Love the pictures. Who is Charlie related to ?
Interesting that Ty and Kona both love to hang out on the back
of the sofa. Very cat like.

Darlah - I think we all have those days - had one of them too! Back to the hustle bustle tomorrow for me - and I bet you too!

I learned some more today about the dogs - as some new names cropped up (for me) that I haven't heard before - love hearing about the family!

I actually have more of those days than I care to admit! You just have to embrass them with gusto as I do!
Darlah, I noticed Truffle is now on your "main" page... there can never be enough of Mr. Truffle as far as I am concerned ...

Darlah - who is the little apricot and white puppy in the forefront of this photo? Is the colouring like Laci's? They all look so innocent and sweet natured enjoying their Play-time together.

Charlie is not one of ours. He just came for the day yesterday. His colours are like Treasures were at that age. He's just a puppy at 8 months so I think he will be a big boy for sure. You can't tell in that photo but he is already taller than Ty (Ty was the largest in his litter) and Ty is at his adult height and this boy still has some growing to do. We have Alfie here and he is also not our breeding. Got to spend serious time getting knots out of him today and then I will take a photo or two. :-) Phantom I just lined combed and wrapped in conditioner till tonights bath so he can be ready for flying out. Mugs, Phantom's dad I found is a real talker. He has a conversation with me in a good way while I groom him. It's a riot and there's not much to groom as he has the same hairdo Teaser had when she first arrived. That reminds me I have to ask Paula to leave Teaser longer if she is coming back for her last litter. :-)

Angie: I am hunting my hard drive for a just puppy photo to add to that page. As my hard drive is so full its no longer letting me write to it I had to find something that was already in the right size. When the hard drive comes I will find a puppy photo or two and Truffie will disappear - well not really disappear.

Kathy: Yes the havs are very cat like. They actually like a lot of cat like things too not just on the back of the couch sleeping. I love that about them.

Darlah, I think I contributed to your lack of productivity.....Oooppps :-)

April 26, 2012 | Unregistered CommenterLori

Lori: No, that was important... seriously!

Darlah - that is the most obvious difference I find between Bichons and Havs - so far - Cat-like in ability. When Laci jumps or speeds up the stairs, she is extremely light on her feet. That 1st jump off the bed (and last for a while) really showed off their bounce, not to mention the light landing . . . and yet so secure and on all 4's.

Yes, the Havanese are pretty agile....
