Oh Fun

Here is the gallery.

It was  Dennis day off so Nathan took the photos today. I was grooming. I didn't get a walk in - wanted to. Even had all the dogs with me while I groomed. Usually I have a few. Today I had all as Nathan napped. He said he pulled his back so we put Voltaren on him - well I put it on. He also did nails on a dog and pinched his finger so he has a blood blister. Poor guy - he is falling apart.

Then I did Apple Fitness. 10 minutes of warm up. 30 minutes of jumping and lunges 10 minutes of weights and 5 minutes cooldown. I almost didn't make it. I kept thinking, I must be nuts but the goal is to firm up. I have already seen the difference but wish I could have done brisk walks with the dogs. I think a couch is calling me literally. I hear my name.

Nathan made steak on the BBQ for the dogs. They smacked their lips. It is their fave.

They do love the play outdoors but they play for shorter periods of time. I get that. They play like crazy indoors and well Hazel matches Brodie in stamina.

Hope all the dawgs are keeping warm and dreaming of fun stuff when they nap. Can you believe it is December already?

Sheesh, that's WAY too much for a start at exercising, try 10 min at first for 1 whole week then increase by 5 min each week and only if you can do it easily before you increase time. That's why your body couldn't do it, you risk injury if not conditioned. It'll take 3 months before you will find you can do it comfortably. Been there, done that, so many times, I know it's hard going in the beginning. I hated having to recondition after an injury as well.

Dorothy: I did VR Kickboxing today and I had so much fun I didn't look at the clock and I went ah its over. I was wishing there was more. But I will not overdo. I am sore for the 1st time - not terribly but achy. I will be doing kickboxing g-d willing tomorrow. The VR exercise is so fun. I can pretend I am on the beach or anywhere else. LOL I did have sweat coming off me. I do not have that with walking or the Apple Fitness but I am doing level 1 not going crazy. I do know about hurting yourself. One year I did step aerobics and tried to keep up with the others. It is why I weakened my knee. I know what I can and can't do. Step aerobics is not it nor is jumping. You can still get your heart rate up without jumping or impact. I really really enjoyed kickboxing today. It was ridiculously fun!
