Simba & Scruffy & a Hairdo

Rox & Simba's New Hairdo

Simba's mom was worried about Simba's new hairdo. She asked for a trim and she didn't recognize the dog that came out. It happens.

Although I like the puppy look or longer (Scruffy has that puppy look) this hairdo is actually not bad.

It's easy care. You can see he is a tri colour boy (eyebrows) and silver brown in his face. You can see he has nice structure. I think he is a cutie but I understand the shock of getting a hairdo on one of your family members that you don't expect.

But if you don't like it - well it grows. That's the good thing about hair and you may decide you do like it. It's just an adjustment to have a new look.

Well in a minute Scruffy is getting a bath and will be picked up and Simba will be going home. Roxie played up a storm with both but I thought you may enjoy the boys - one is a Teaser pup, the short do guy is a Fiona pup. Both are cuties in their own right and I got some really great shots but no hard drive still and its a hardship to do this on Nathan's machine but I am hopeful tomorrow (hard drive should arrive) I can get to last week videos and photos on the Wasabi and Abigail pups but till them enjoy this spectacular display of what two puppies do best. Check it out.

I really enjoyed seeing Simba and Scruffs at play. I agree, Simba's do is not bad, just short. I've had those shocking results in past w/ my last two. I always gave groomers 3 tries. No one really knows what you want unless you take a photo in and if they can't match that, then move on. Otherwise, give the groomer a few tries w/ positive comments about what you like and are not so fond of. To me, Simba appears to have a "summer do." It's when they shave the ears down that used to drive me crazy! At least Simba still has nice ears and his face is great! The body is easy to grow and does so fairly quickly.

Simba looks great despite the cut. You do get to see his beautiful structure this way. It's just a shock when you aren't expecting it, so I understand that....I'd be upset if it wasn't what I asked for. But he is a beautiful boy :)

Scruffs is POOPED!!!! Happily so :)
We missed him like crazy these past few days but he had a great time with my parents and today at N&D's with Simba and Roxie. I'm so glad we got a chance to get away knowing that he was in good hands the whole time, and we're so glad that Scruffs had so much fun. Best story....my parents who initially said to me " you aren't going to let him sleep in your bed are you?", very willingly let Scruffs sleep with them in their bed!!! Hahaha....the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Apparently Scruffs kept up the same antics with them that he does with us.....my dad got up and came back to the bed only to find that Scruffs had taken his spot! He also insisted on having cheese sprinkled over his kibble before he would eat it! That's the Scruffster for you, LOL.
Don't worry, he doesn't get away with that stuff at N&D's.....clearly we need to set up some more play dates for him. He's already sound asleep having wonderful puppy play date dreams, I'm sure :)
Debi, I hope Scruffs and Laci get to play sometime.....something tells me Laci will have him wrapped around her cute little paw in no time!

By the way, Darlah, the photos are awesome.....thanks so much!

They did have a grand time as you can tell. Glad he is catching some zzzs.

PS: We do sprinkle the food with chicken and sometimes steak and hamburger but only enough to entice.

Puppies have their ways and even we break the rules at times. It's human.

I don't blame him.....it's boring to eat kibble all the time. He needs the variety, and hey, I like cheese just as much as he does :)

Me too - but I may like it too much. hahahaha

Darlah, now I'm on a diet too! All this indulging the past few days plus a bunch of social events recently and now my pants are too tight!
I can't sleep...Roger and Scruffs are peacefully sleeping and I'm sandwiched between them. I missed Scruffs so much I keep kissing him gently so he doesn't wake....I tried to snuggle up to Roger but he said in his half asleep state "why don't we sleep now?". That's his polite way of saying stop bothering me while I'm sleeping!!! They are both so tired but it's 3:30 am and ive been up since 2.
Scruffy has dreams I know because every now and again I hear him making a muffled bark in his sleep....sounds like he is playing :-)

Oh Lori - sleep is so important. Yes, it is fun to watch the pups dream.

Lori - maybe one day in the near future, you can let me know when Scruffs is having a play day w/ D&N. And if they have room for Laci, perhaps she can join in on the same day! :-)

Darlah - Seeing The Scruffs and Simba play was what Laci was attempting to get me to do yesterday. It was so cute as she was jumping up prancing and making ferocious faces, but no sound affects - LOL! She would run on to the pool cover like yours all do and wanted me to join her. I did my best! :-)

Darlah, Scruffs is still pooped :)
I took him for just a 5 minute walk and he's fast asleep again, haha
The one good thing is, he's letting me kiss him and hug him as much as I want today....he must know I missed him and I need it, so he's not protesting. he's like....ok momma, I know you miss me, I'll patiently stay in your arms even though you are smothering me and I'm hot!
On a side note, Roger doesn't remember me trying to wake him up last night.....he laughed when I told him about our conversation...he remembers nothing!
