Mia's Visit

Mia and her mom and grandmom came over for a visit. It was so delightful but very windy and very cold.

I hope none of us get sick from this experience but we also had the pups out and Mia was able to see them as well as some of the dogs. Some we kept inside. Spice is not feeling that well (it happens) and I figure it is her partaking of the junk in the yard as it seems to be at this time of year but I left her inside.

Fiona, Risa, Abigail, Wasabi, Panda, Roxie and Simba was outside.

Fiona really seemed to like Mia and Wasabi was very aware and seemed to follow her around sniffing and almost coddling her. It was cute.

Mia was the littlest one of the crew and she remains that way. She's about the size of what Fiona was before pups.

I call Fiona my delicate beauty but in reality she's not delicate at all but rather sturdy just smaller.

Mia was pure white in her back and now she has black and silver strands coming in all over.

One of the things I love about the havanese is if you wait long enough they change and it is rather nice.

Other than the windy cold, it was a great visit and I really enjoyed seeing her.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and for dealing with all this cold.

They say snow tonight....geez... Do you have that shovel ready?

Mia seems like such a sweetheart! She has such a gorgeous face, must of been nice to see her again :)

It was great to see her and her mom is a sweetheart too so I 'get' why Mia is. Dad is a huge factor too and I guess that is why she is who she is and I like what I see. I wish we all lived in the same area and I could see them everyday. Now wouldn't that be something. Oh to dream!

Darlah,

Thank you both so much for having us over today... it was such a great visit and we really must do it more often!

They are beautiful for sure! It's not hard to tell Mia is a little girl. Is she a girly girl? My 1st was a tomboy and my 2nd a girly girl - both are fun! :-)

Debi,

Don't be fooled... despite her good looks, girly hairstyle, and overall sweet disposition, Mia is not a girly girl. I actually had to redo her hair three times before we even left for Darlah and Nathan's and we left just before noon lol.

We really got the best of both worlds with our little girl...She can be really sweet and calm, but when the mood strikes she loves to roughouse and play up a storm too. Mia absolutley loves to make a mess and push the envelope. She's always rolling around in the grass or the dirt or even just on the carpet if it means messing up her hair.

This weekend she got a bath and as soon as we finished she was ringing the bells to go outside... the first thing she did when we got out there? Started rolling around in the grass and making a mess of her freshly groomed look lol. Her hair was completely out in under an hour but I had to laugh. She gets away with a lot because she always looks so cute doing it haha

and thank you for the compliments - we think she's gorgeous too (not that we're biased or anything :P)

Alyssa - loved hearing about Mia and her rough-housing ways! Our 1st, Tiffany was like that. She would come in filthy from "hunting in the garden" as I would call it. She too would roll in the grass, especially in bird's do! She loved to go behind our cedars and always had pieces of green in her top knot! LOL Now Tia, the girly girl would stop when we came upon puddles. Not walking thru that Mommy - pick me up! Luv the personality each has to give in their own special way! Can hardly wait to see what Laci will be up to! I have a feeling she has a LOT of personality! :-)

Alyssa, it's still evident to see she is your special Princess though!

What a sweet little munchkin ...:)

Haha they do all have such different personalities. I'd love to see all the littermates together again to see how everyone has grown and changed, and to see what the dynamic would be like now.

She's definitely our princess lol she's my baby through and through and boy does she know it! I have a really special connection to her, but then again so does Vince... We just can't get enough of her and love her so much. So I could go on and on forever :P

Congratulations on your new pup! That's so exciting! I've been following the new litters closely and Laci is really adorable too.

Darlah - Believe it or not - I can see from the photo that what you say is true!

Valerie: Looks like someone from the puppy crew this time lives closeby to you. Valerie is the one that lives near St. Lawrence Market.
