Wet, Hot But Cooler

The crew had a ton of rain this morning so we got wet, wet, wet and I groomed, groomed and groomed. hehehehe
Then the heat came and the sun came out and we went outside and they all had what I call chicken legs - wet legs from running through the grass.
Thing is, Tiger Lily got hers AFTER her bath so back in, dry, brush and no more outside till her parents came. Yeah..right. I am a glutton for punishment and it is about the dawgs. But we got her looking good despite her desire to muck it up. Remind me a 4 hour window for parents coming is not a good thing. A 2 hour window allows me to do it just before and they look real good.
Tiger Lily went home lined combed and feeling wonderful but not as perfect as I like. But a dawg needs to play.
Archie arrived today and has managed to play, play and play again. It's as if he is a little boy in a candy store. But this is fun. Who can blame him.
Tomorrow Zack and Coco arrives and then on Sunday, Tia, Chewie and Archie go home. It will be rather quiet here.

I am really missing the pool shots this year. Too many puppies to open the pool? I can only imagine trying to keep your eye on that many play monkeys!
when you have so many chicken legs, how could you possibly keep your house tidy and clean?
Lord, I only have one and I gave up on trying to keep the house too tidy. He is nature's giant swiffer, bringing in every loose twig, leaf, and piece of grass that is out there! :)
Oh don't you love the Havanese doing double duty - the natural swiffers of the outside. :-)
Jen - you get faster at anything with practiice. ROFL Plus I use towels and a son to help.
I miss the pool shots too - heck I miss the pool especially with this heat we have been having but with a cover on the pool, I feel safer when they are running around to have the cover on. Nathan has been throwing around opening it after they go to their homes but Fiona's go the 3rd week of August. Seems silly to open it what for 2 weeks? Next year for sure even if we have to fence the grass area if we have litters.
I miss our pool get-togethers too. <sigh>
