Dear Nathan and Darlah,

Rocco’s 6th birthday is today!  Everyday we love him more and more.  He is the centre of it all and has been such a joy specifically through these uncertain times.

We hope you are doing well, and on this weekend of thanksgiving, wanted to thank you for bringing such a wonderful creature as Rocco, and others like him, into this world.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Dogs are having fun. They ate most of our leftovers added into their meals. I love turkey leftovers but as long as we were whelping they too needed something extra special. I so look forward to sleeping with the dogs tonight.

Ms Bria departed tonight. Thank you for the strawberry/raspberry pie. Never had that combo. We will cook it tomorrow.

Short blog but Happy Holiday weekend. I hope it is enjoyable or you manage to make some of it enjoyable.

Ms Murphy likes Nami very much. We manage to get a few photos of her playing with her.

Now I need to start doing cleanup before Dennis wakes up. the day just went by so fast - maybe good.

2 Updates Today

Bella is here for play and a bath and haircut. Logan and Panda also depart tonight. Bella departs tonight. Frannie, Bria, Harlow and Tenshi are visiting. Everyone is having a grand time but it is raining now so only indoors. It was a wonderfully warm day.

Let's see if the pool get closed next week.

It's a relatively quiet holiday weekend. Sounds like it may be that way for all of 2020 and part of 2021. Let's hope its a short one.

Cinnamon kept me up last night and Nathan thinks she is progressing but I am not sure. She is due in a few days and that's okay with me. We need recovery around here. Let's see if we get it.

5 Years Old: 2 Updates Today

Not Much Today

It's a no gallery day as Sage is whining and digging. Glad I rescheduled all grooming as she is taking up much of my focus.

The photo above is Spirit as a puppy. She's actually got darker as time went on.

We have Harlow, Tenshi and Brie with us today. Brewer is a day visitor. It's a truly fun house but Nathan is napping. I need one as I was up all last night and Dennis is playing with the dogs but I told him not to worry about taking photos as I probably won't be able to make a gallery. :-)

A Busy Wet Day

Pigtail mess after just a short time of brushing out the Sage. I laugh as that is what makes them mighty interesting.

We got word that the pool is delayed in closing till next week. <sigh> So no running cover fun for a bit.

Today we have to move couches to get ready for Cinnamon, get a couch in from outside and throw a couch out. So, Dennis is telling me what I have to clean to get ready. Yes, I am laughing.

I am crazy grooming due to impending pups. It always happens.

This is a long weekend and all we have visiting is Tenshi. It's a quiet house.

Still hoping the next 2 deliveries start at 7am. :-) I am dreaming - I know.

Wet Wednesday

Is it wet or what? Teddy and Rusty are here. They are truly enjoying each other.

We are starting to take temps on Sage.

The cover is not on the pool yet but even with rain, it is relatively mild.I can tell the dogs that know are in waiting for the cover.

It is tv night with a VP debate thing going on so popcorn and a big old drink. Nathan is napping but he enjoys reading and seeing the snippets after.

Maybe I should take a nap too. :-)

What a Day and So

The dogs are always playing in the kitchen from the moment we get up till bed time off and on. They play outdoors or in the halls upstairs too doing the run game if the weather is not good.

Here is the gallery. Sage is the top photo and you can see her belly but I placed a gallery in Sage and Cinnamon's blog. Cinnamon is huge. Sage will have 4 pups.

The dogs had fun today. I made turkey today so they went yum - that means extra treats for us and it did. They kept smelling the air as the smell permeated the entire house. They all ate with gusto.

Nice to see them so looking forward to dinner.

I am feverishly grooming everyone's dogs before more pups arrive so I skipped mine today.

Crazy times...

Running and Play

Here is the gallery.

They run, they play, they have a grand time. They say this week the cover will go on and then the bouncing fun begins. It ought to be fun as some have not been on it. Time wil be telling. Will have to take a video of that.

It's the start of a busy week. Nathan stress test tomorrow then the next day results of all his tests.

Class tonight for Nathan. I will do tv time with the dogs. LOL

Harlow departed last night. No one singing for their breakfast

Thursday another xray for Cinnamon to get a better idea of how many. Sometime the end of the week for Sage. Then days after that Cinnamon.

Tomorrow we have to move couches inside and out, lawn furniture and all that stuff. We will leave two chairs and a table out. It is waterproof so it can stay out all winter, if desired.

Oh the season is changing and I already miss summer. Six more months till melt and warmth. But if we get snow, it means paths and fun snow shots and well lots of clothes. Not for the dogs as we do not do that. We used to but by the time I get the last dressed, the 1st is coming inside. I find they just stay out a shorter period and appreciate being able to have free movement.

We are cooking turkey tomorrow to tie us over. We love turkey and stuffing sandwiches with or without gravy. Nathan never gets a large turkey. He always says this is the biggest. But it is just the 3 of us. makes sense to do it early as moms and all have their own timing. We shall see.

No photos today. Only some memories. It has been raining so no one clicked and I need to groom Harlow before she departs. I also have to get Sage's whelping box set up.

Yesterday and Today

Here's a gallery from yesterday and today.

Dogs are having fun. It's a no rain day - hooray. I am over the next few days playing catch-up on groomings due to Spirit having her pup.

Did get everyone brushed out. It's the weekend - really. Have to buy food. We are out. Nathan says not on the weekend. Borsht was delish and Dennis ate all the cornbread. LOL

Pool may get closed next week. It's time. Then all the fun will begin with dogs running over the cover. I can't wait.

We had many running games today. As I type, Dennis is sleeping in the recliner. He is adjusting to night shift once again.

Pingo Update

Happy Fall! 

I hope the family and all the pups are doing well. So looking forward to the new pack to be born. Cannot wait to follow their little puppy journey on the blog. 

Had some pictures taken of Pingo and wanted to pass them along! :) I think he looks so much like his momma Stormy and acts as free spirited as her too.

Visits and Amazing People

Leo and Pixie came to visit with their momma. It was great to see them. She really takes care of their hair - bravo! She shared some Borscht that she made - yum! Thank you, truly!

Maui, Nami's brother was here and oh my gad are they are riot in their play. I will try to get a video or 2 up. Maui was a funny moving target on the grooming table.

Murphy came to visit. Tenshi and Murphy was in a tiny little crate together sleeping. We leave the doors off but some like their own space when they catch zzzs and some like the couch or chairs or beds. By the time I grabbed the camera, Tenshi decided she wanted the chair instead. Maybe it was too crowded. Harlow always grabs the back of the couch and Brewer loves the leather recliner. It must be cool to the touch.

It was good weather then rain. We had to have an electrician here as we had an issue so he was pushing cable through the walls. I am glad we have heat as it is getting cooler. Still have to clean and organize the garage so we can park inside. So much to do, so very little time.

We got a call this morning that we were supposed to be doing xrays today. Hmm thought tomorrow. So, Nathan did that on his day off.

It has been a day.
