Very Late Very Long Day Short Blogging

Sorry - its been a day and I have so much left to do as I just finished grooming. Above is Nami on my pool raft.

Several dogs went home. Everyone is tving now. Me, I am blogging and trying to get them done. 

The dogs had a great day. It's much cooler - just like they like it!

What fun times indeed for the dogs. They have been a riot today and Coco the maltese has departed. She will miss hanging out on top of Rebel. 

Dogs had a blast. I have to do one more comb out before bed changes, water change and food etc So - a short one!

Nice Summer Day

I just love it when Harlow smiles and that she does.

Dogs enjoyed the outside today - me too with ipad on hand to watch the dogs when I swam plus Dennis was here to watch. None of teh dogs wanted to swim but that was ok. I just laid on the raft and they watched me. I can't believe that Coco the Maltese is departing tomorrow. She makes me laugh with her tiny bark. 

Dogs are looking forward to TV time and lazing outside with Nathan. I am here with the pups. 

It is a dog's life - for sure and wouldn't have it any other way!

Wild Fun and Endearing

The steamy heat has broken. They say heat again tomorrow but just for one day. I need to get in the pool at least for 20 minutes. We shall see. Just too cool today but could have used it.

I am going to play hide the treats with the dogs tonight as Dennis will be sleeping. I hope I do the game as well as him tonight. I hope for it to be fun. I have done it before but each time is different as the players are different.

Hot Heat and Rain With Steam

It was so hot out and steamy then rainy and more steam. Not sure dogs were in love with it but when they see the rain when we open teh door, they go back inside. LOL

It is so funny. What are you allergic to rain?

It has been a good summer so far for the dogs. So many fun dogs to play with. How can it get better than that?

Wow What a Hot Day It Was

It was so hot that the dogs enjoyed indoors more than outdoors even with Dennis spraying to cool them off. We are supposed to get thunder and lightening so I hope no one has an issue with it here. Usually not but you do get the odd dog that does.

Riley, each time I comb her out looks at me with those eyes as if to say - really? 

Dogs had fun. I am running behind and need to do the usual clean up before Dennis gets up for the night.

Heated Hot Day

Riley and Jasper prefer the air conditioning. Oh, they went out but was it steaming out there. So we made many trips out and in for a short duration. Sometimes the dogs looked cross-eyed at us and decided no heat for me! Can you blame them? 

Dennis did his crazy runs upstairs in the hallways into the bedrooms. It sounded like a herd of elephants. Got to chase those willies out!

T.G.I.F.

Hallie is moping. I am looking for ways to get her out of her funk. At bedtime, she is wonderful. She body snuggles like no other and of course wakes me up kissing my face.

I am sorry I am so late for the blogs. It's just been one of those days. When I do puppies, I am the one that stresses and frets around here. The guys think I can fret so they do not have to. After this, I need to do chores - all the things we do before bed.

Weather was good and the dogs appreciated it. The dogs and who they play with and what fun they have is unique each day. Some make friends and that's their pal throughout their holiday and others play with someone different all the time. 

The dogs enjoyed the sun today. They are TVing it with Nathan and I am doing all the rest till Dennis gets up. 

Ms. Daisy left a bit ago but we get to see her later in the week. Ms. Harlow grabbed her fave spot cause it's hers after all. I could go on but I am too tired to. Forgive me.

Last Blog for Tonight

Everyone has messy hairdos. I did partially comb him up in my half awake state but here is is. This is how they look after a good run.

I can't believe Daisy is going home. Congrats on the move and living closer. 

It rained enough to save Dennis from watering plants. Thank you mother nature.

Dennis has now started doing an end of the night run. The dogs actually sleep better.

Dogs are getting along and enjoying each other. 

Fun Play Of Course

Leo is focusing on the crazy birds we have buzzing the yard. I swear they were playing and Leo was extra fascinated.

Despite we whelped a litter and I was up all night with Willow and still haven't had sleep, the dogs are managing to enjoy. I can't do the run game with my knee nor can Nathan but maybe when Dennis is up, he will. I am sure he will. He loves it as much as they do.  He went to sleep about 230. I suspect he will be up at 9ish and can run his fool head off with them.

I did play a fun game of find the treat. Don't worry - even those that can't find get a treat. 

Ms Coco the Maltese no longer needs her cone and Riley no longer needs her onesie. 

Nathan made some steak and cut it up in tiny pieces. That is their addition tonight to dinner. Hey - I wanted a steak too. So laughing...

The dogs really had fun today and the day is not over!

Hang Out, Play or on a Mission

It's been a day emotionally, fun times and crazy busy. But we manage to have fun. This is Crosby above - a man on a mission. 

The weather was good for play and for lazing or whatever you want to do. Nathan fed the dogs yum bacon - just a little for them to say - yum. I cooked it today. They are now doing tv time but they will be going out again shortly. 

We are on watch for Willow.

Fun is the Name of the Game

Each day I take Riley's clothes off and Coco's collar off and give them a comb out. Riley is at the point we are going to try to see how she does without wearing clothes. Wearing clothes are necessary at times but they mat if you do not take them off to comb out.

Dogs had fun. It did rain. Then the sun came out. I did get into the pool for about 20 minutes. I laid on the pool mat and promptly fell asleep. I still am not getting a good sleep at night due to this leg. 

Willow goes in for her xrays tomorrow. Nathan gets his annual blood test and his hematoma looked at. It is better. Mine is aggravated and I am still icing.I told a friend that using my arms to push up off the floor will at least have the benefit of firmer arms. She dispelled that thought. I laughed. We have been friends for a very long time so I laughed. 

Looks like it is going to rain again. No watering plants for Dennis but it also means the running game is  upstairs in the hall. The dogs don't mind. They come down to nap after that in the tv room with Nathan. Nothing like expelling your energy with games. Plus - the dogs LOVE it!
