Happy Valentine's Day

It has been a busy but fun day. I am doing dogs earlier as a storm is supposedly coming tomorrow. Other than crazy getting up early (which is what I think should be done) I am starting to face cancellations that all want to be done on the 16th. It is Family Day weekend, Puppy visit, and puppy baths too. I will go in the order received. It is the best I can do.

If you are coming tomorrow for drop off or pickup, I will do my best to accomodate you. Otherwise they can just stay. The earlier you let me know the more likely I can accomodate you especially if your dog is getting groomed for pickup.

We have Coco and Ellie here. They are having a total blast. 

The puppies are having a great amount of fun. Ollie looks for Petey and Ellie looks for Coco. It does the heart good.

Everyone and I mean everyone is having a blast!

Outside Fun

The pups were enjoying the outdoors and so was the adults. We had a full day and I still have some grooming to do so this blog will be short.

Everyone is playing. 

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and we are going to give extra special meals for the dogs so they can celebrate the day of love too!

Hazel - who was visiting today had a bath, pads trimmed, nails done and well just before mom came to get her he started paddling her front paws in the water dish. One has to laugh at pups.

The adults are playing and playing. We have a great crew here.

We Are Playing

I am out tonight so short blogging it. I sit in clothes laden with hair that has to be changed after grooming but figured I best get the blogs done before I am being picked up. 

Everyone is playing well. One of the huge players departed at non - Jamie and Charlotte. 

We have Brodie here longterm and he has adjusted after all the activity. He is playing as you will probably see in the gallery.

The house of 4 gang play independent - which is interesting. They really like Beau who came for grooming and play today. 

Ms Harlow departs tomorrow so she will get a bath late morning. She will be excvited to see her human Dad.

Nori and Chester depart tonight. Both have played more than ever this visit.

I am always amazed when I dog comes in shy how welcoming the crew is and they are. It is as if they say it is more fun with new pals and it always is thanks to the dogs and the way they treat each other. Can't get better than that!

I am off to see Criminal Live at the Danforth Music Hall. The daughter invited me and well I need to distraction. Off to get ready as they are coming in an hour and I have videos to upload. :-)

Players in the House

Inside, outside they were playing today. Mr. Petey joined the pups today. He has been having a blast with Rain and Hope and sometimes even Willow. Trigger arrived and has been playing. Great to see. Boo, Maisy, Raven and Tiger has been full out playing with each other and with the other dogs. 

We have dogs coming - dogs going. Some are here just for Super Bowl. LOL

Jamie and Charlotte is departing tomorrow. They will be missed. 

I am out with the daughter tomorrow so short blogging it tomorrow. Hope you understand. 

I made peanut butter and pumpkin cookies for the dogs. I am hoping they love them.

Everyone and I mean everyone ate their meal with gusto. 

First Out and Fun

As the pups had their 2nd shot, we were able to take them out in the back yard for the 1st time. We tend to be extra careful as we have visitors. In a few weeks they will get their 3rd shot then 2 weeks later their rabies. They LOVEd their 1st outdoors and the visitors and pups are fine with each other. It is great conditioning for the pups.

Dennis had this grand idea to place waterproof pads in the kitchen floor so when they come in they don't muddy the floors. I laugh as those pads have to be washed. So, he is saving himself and adding to my work. 

Its so warm out that we have plants coming out that shouldn't be yet. Dogs are sniffing.

We had fireworks last night - very loud after we went to bed. No one was afraid but a few was irritated so on went the noise machines and finally they stopped. Who does fireworks at 11pm?

Happy Chinese New Year and Warm Day

I told Nathan - STOP, I want to take a photo of Magic `before you deliver her to the car where her parents were waiting and look at his expression. It was as if to say - really? 

It was the warmest day today - 14c - 57f. Yes, that means mud. LOL Aren't you sick of my mud tirades - I am.

I had quite a few grooms today for Chinese New Year that begins tomorrow. Happy New Year everyrone and thank you to Magic's parents for being so patient. 

Bonham came for a visit. My dinner is getting cold but hey that's what toaster ovens are for and that's what I just told Dennis who was nagging me to eat.

Both Rain and Hope survived their shots yesterday without any soreness. 

Ellie, Lachlan, Ollie all arrived this morn. Lachlan and Ollie look so much alike. Ellie took over the chair next to Dennis to watch him play a game. LOL Murphy arrives shortly. Everyone is having a truly grand time. They loved the warm weather and yes muddy but only feet - hooray!

No Gallery Day

This is a no gallery day today. It is wet. It is muddy and I am doing way too much grooming due to it. The dogs are great. They are just sick of this mud - me too and rain is coming so I assume more mud. 

Dogs are about to eat. They so look forward to it especially Harlow and Jamie.

I am grooming a few dogs for Chinese New Year so may your festivities be wonderful!

Inside Outside Plus Pups

Both Hazel, Coco (Sage pups) and Ellie came to play. You will find the pups in the gallery. They had a total blast and so did Sage. 

I had a comb out with Nava and she looked at me as if to say really? I so laugh.

Chloe has a collar on. She is coping well. Emmy wants the top pillow in bed where the pups go. Emmy won out. Jax embraces Rain and Hope and I wonder if he thinks he is the big guy now?

Lily and Tenshi have been snuggling in the tv room. awwww

Reggie really likes Willow. He seems to be attracted to someone else each time. Maybe he is a player - yes I am laughing.

Cali and Fenton go home tonight and they know it. They are clean. It is not muddy outside - hooray. They will be happy to see their humans but had a grand time. 

Lulu was a play monkey today. Oh my and what fun she has been having.

Jamie is the checker out dawg. He is a riot and Charlotte just plays and play.

It has been a great day.

Oh Fun Playing

Dogs are playing non stop. It's not too cold outside. The dogs do not mind being in or out.

Jersey departs tonight. Lulu comes tomorrow for day play and groom and Cali and Fenton depart. So many changes but we also have both Hazel and Coco coming to visit tomorrow and oh boy oh boy will that be fun for us and for Sage and for Rain and Hope. It will be a fun puppy house tomorrow. How will Nathan ever take a nap with 4. LOL

Sherry and I picked up takeout at Hibachi. I didn't buy a thing except 2 whip cream donuts with slices of strawberries. Yum!

With no heats in this house we have normalcy. Imagine that!

Play and More Play: 2 Blog Day

I have been crazy busy. Dogs have been having a ton of fun and everyone has been nice and playful to Rain and Hope. They sleep all night in our bed around Nathan's head. What a puppy hoarder he is.

Dennis has been busy installing his graphic card. So, I have been busy doing all the things he does. So - I am a bit behind. 

Mr. Fudge departs tonight - Jersey tomorrow. Jersey has to be finished and bathed at 7amish as I am out for a few hours with a friend. We haven't even figured out where we are going but oh boy its been a very long time. I am working hard so I can go out. Can I say puppies, puppies and puppies? Wednesday we have Coco visiting with Ellie - hooray!!!

No mud today - another hooray. It is cold. 

The dogs - they are having a ton of fun. It makes me smile.

Happy 12th

We’re celebrating Laci’s birthday today!  So blessed to have her. As the Little Princess she wants to wish her 3 Prince’s (littermates) a special day too! 

Cold Day So No Mud Hooray

It's a cold day hovering around freezing. Dogs are having fun. Rain and Hope are getting immersed with the adults. The  adults and them are doing well with each other. They are also taking naps with whomever wants to go. They also survived the overnight in bed. All the adults find them endearing and Jamie finds them to be curious and follows them everywhere so we let them go into the hall with toys and with Nami so they have a break.

It's dinner time as I type. 

I sorely need to relax some today. Yesterday was a ball of craziness busy time from waking up to 11pm. We shall see how that goes. 

The dawgs - well they are having fun but are now staring at Dennis saying - food - come on - work faster. LOL

It's a Meltdown

This was taken this morning so any dogs that came visiting this afternoon will not be in today's gallery but instead tomorrows.

Barney and Bailey is departing tomorrow. Logan and Panda went home this afternoon and Pepper goes home tonight.

No mud on paws today except on Dennis shoes. I prefer that! Reggie is having a great time but not getting dirty!

I think after today, Rain and Hope will join this gallery and that will get me back to 2 blogs. That is more managable. 

The dogs are all napping except the pups all over Nathan in the tv room. Dennis is busy setting up his computer in his newish case. He got the case a year ago and today he has time. He gets a new video card so he is motivated.

Me, I want to take a nap with Cinnamon and Jeannie in the recliner but laundry to do and videos to upload.

No Muddy Times Today

This is Nica and she is visiting for the day.

Today we have Petey - Nami's pup overnight. He is playing like crazy with Rain and Hope.

It is a bit cooler today and therefore muddy times is not part of the equation today. Hooray!

We had Bonham visiting for a few hours today and he got to see the pups. He was so excited to be here!

The dogs played and played today. Do you think they know T.G.I.F.? I guess it doesn't matter unless you have weekends off. What's that?

Dogs are playing. I am watching pups and blogging and Nathan went out to run errands. Dennis is feeding the dogs. It's a busy time but fun too!

Oh, and no one is in heat so gates can come down.

Meltdown

Here is the gallery.

I woke up at 7am to have Dennis yell, do something mom - there is mud all over the floors. Oh Cinnamon has mud on her. I took her into the grooming room and the mud clinged to her as if it didn't want to let go. She had it all over her face, on her tummy amd milkstations and the paws, I literally had to put conditioner on them so I could pull it out. Then Dennis screamed - got another and then another and another. That was the start of my day. Where did they get it - around our walkout. This is a huge meltdown and way too much mud. I did not want to start my day like that so they are doing more playing than not and we are only now taking them out a few at a time and watching that they do not repeat the performance. We have had two rounds of it and that is enough for me. I need a nap.

The dogs played. They still had fun but on hindsight I would keep them in the kitchen - let them dry so the mud falls off. I wonder if that would work?

Tomorrow another pup departs. Check out her bath.

I am warming up blankets for the dogs as I blog. The dogs so appreciate it!

She is the love of our life for 5 years now!  Happy Birthday to our super sweet pup, Meadow

Hovering Around Freezing

Here is a mini gallery.

Remember, I am going out at 445ish so a small gallery is all I could muster. I will be bringinging food home for Nathan.

Pictured above is Ellie who is welcoming Coco home tomorrow. Today we spent time with them to get to know each other. Much like Ollie and Petey and they are best buds now.

Things are melting but not fast so wet feet is not a many times a day clean up experience.

We are still doing warm blankets. The dryer just chimed so I must get them out and put more in. They are getting used to the indulgence.

Busy day today and tomorrow and Saturday too. Next week is quieter.

Oh the Fun

Nes and Jax are playing up a storm. Every now and then Jax wants a break so he climbs up on the top of the couch and says I need a snooze then they start in again. Nes doesn't seem to need a break. LOL

The dogs had fun today. They played a grand game of hide the treat. Not all treats were found - how interesting.

Tomorrow I have a puppy to wash that will be departing on the 1st and I am going out to eat with Ronnie and Elana tomorrow. So, the blogs I will try to get done early.

I haven't been out forever so looking forward to it. I need some human non family time. LOL

Here is the gallery.

The weather is hovering just over freezing so some meltdown is occuring. Despite the wetness, they are playing outside. Or they are investigating. Either way, there is more outdoor time than there has been. Dennis always runs with them indoors to make sure they expel energy. Exercise is a good thing. 

Ms. Bailey has departed. We miss her already. Mr. Rocco departs tonight. 

It was another warm blanket today and they so enjoy it. It makes TV time more enjoyable. 

Everyone received a freeze dried chicken treat including the Sage and Nami pups. They so enjoyed it and it was the 1st time for the older pups. Two of Cinnamon's pups tried to eat from her bowl. 

It's been an interesting day. 

Snow is Melting

Here is the gallery.

Snow is melting. Dogs are enjoying a rainless day. It was semi warm today. I had a lot of grooming to do as it was mushy outside but it has been worse. 

Nathan made steak for himself and we could tell who must feed their dogs from the table. It wasa sight for sore eyes. It was rather hysterical. Nathan did give them some steak but not from the table. I say this as if you do feed them from the table, they will forever more be hopeful. LOL

Dogs had a wonderful day. We heated up blankets when they came in and they snuggled into the warm blankets till I was able to blow dry each. This has been the winter season of soppiness.

Some dogs do not mind the wetness and others do. Jamie - the non havanese thinks this wetness is a dream. He is a riot and oh boy he loves Sage. I am not sure why he loves her but if she is in the room, he needs to be with her. 

We are now down to 2 dogs being in heat. They are days away from being out and I celebrate. 

Tomorrow Bailey is departing and will be over the moon happy to see her humans. She has played from dog to dog. She is also very fond of Ollie but that doesn't stop the play with others. It is always so interesting to see who plays with whom.
