Day Before Visit

Here is the gallery.

Tomorrow the pups have their visit then a week later they depart. Oh boy. Lots to do to get ready.

Pups had fun outside today and it is too hot so their last play session will be upstairs with Dennis. I have a bunch of other things to do.

Videos are already up.

Hallie was on watch today as we had a dog that has not been here so she was being protective. She wasn't doing so in a bad way. She was just announcing she is keeping the pups safe and then she relaxed.

Early Update

Here is the gallery.

Wanted to get this blog done in case Tempie gets us busy. It looks like rain and we got out beforehand. Pups had lumps yesterday from vaccines but gone today. They are NOT sore. I am thankful.

The videos coming soon.

They are both now going up the stairs - not down yet. You will see on the videos. They tried and perfected that skill this play session.

They are now napping. I will upload videos and hopefully Tempie and I will nap. We shall see.

Before and After Vets

Here is the gallery.

Nathan was only able to get 5 photos at the vets as that is not something she allows. Sorry about that. I also was not able to be there as she still does not allow clients in but she made an exception for this as she knew Nathan was fully vaccinated with boosters and all. Both are deemed healthy as we knew they would be. When we weighed them a couple of weeks ago, she was half the size of him. His weight gain has started to slow down.

They only had the large size microchip. Nathan said despite that she was very good at inserting. I hope they are not sore tomorrow but if so, this passes. I hate this process but it is necessary. I feel major guilt if they get sore.

Make your next vet visit 3 to 4 weeks from now.

This process reminds me that they are almost ready to go home. That makes me sad but happy for the new families. No matter how many pups you have, your relationship with each is different and leaves an imprint on your heart.

Here are the videos.

PS: 1st car ride there and back. No sickness or accidents in sherpa bag. Perfect pups!

What a Day

This is the bath and swimming gallery taken today.

The pups went swimming first (both stars) and then had a bath together. As it was Nathan's day off, it was me for baths. They were wonderful for all of it. I did not have wet bath photos. They were already wet from the pool. You will see it in the deck play gallery.

They had a wonderful day and perfected their skills on the ramp and going between 2 decks. They are so smart.

Tomorrow they go for their vet visit. I am hoping Nathan can take some photos. We shall see. It will be their first car ride in a sherpa bag. You should bring a large sherpa bag or like minded carrying bag for them to travel with to go home. Don't get the medium. It is too small. They will feel comfort as that is how they travel from fun place to fun place.

As I type, Dennis is setting upstairs as its still too hot for outdoor play. It is also time to upload videos. We will have deck play and swimming videos so a fun day of viewing.

Upstairs Play Plus Treats

Here is the gallery.

As it was raining, we had an upstairs play session then Dennis took them outside and just played - no videos or photos.

The pups had a duck treat strip and loved it. Bowels so far have been good.

They had a blast doing the run game upstairs.

Tomorrow another bath and Wednesday the vets.

Check out the videos as we had a lot of fun today.
