5 Plus Days Old

Here is the gallery.

Hallie pups are doing really well. They want for nothing. They are all gaining and as a matter of fact all pups are gaining across the board.

Hallie is eating well though prefers mousse and Nathan needs to get more. He is trying to get them to eat kibble. They eat some but not like mousse.

Hallie was very happy to see me this morning. All 3 moms were over the moon happy. It is a great feeling when they love you so much.

Bedding changed, new food and water - weights checked. We are on top of it all and while Nathan showered I took care of teh adults, changed waters, combed out a couple of dogs and changed pads all while watching the litters on my ipad. Oh boy. But we did it.

Videos are up and I will add more later. I need to catch my breath.

4 Plus Days Old

Here is the gallery.

Hallie's pups are doing really well. They have all gained and mom is eating a ton. Of course they love mousse and snacks the most. Yes, I am laughing.

I am having to clean bottoms now on both moms every single time they go out to go. It's a big job as you have to make sure they are dry for the pups. I wash my hands so many times, I am surprised they are not raw.

Still no food in the house. We can't do that till after Nami.

I did get some videos up and will be adding more as I can and adding to the gallery as I can.

Pups are all gaining and doing well.

I did manage a few videos. Check them out here.

Each time I check out Willow pups, Hallie says hey what about me.

Hallie is doting on her pups.

Two Plus Days Old

Here is the gallery.

Dennis fell asleep last night - not on purpose but I cringed figuring they will lose. I weigh at 7am and at 7pm. I also added more descriptions to each pups list to make things easier for me. All pups gained. Everyone is over 7oz and the largest is now at 10-2/8. That is Puppy 4, lighter brown with dot of white on chest.

I have to feed her a lot of food as her milk has everything to do with getting enough food in her with 7.

We have - okay I have had to clean her bottom a couple of times but she is good. I took up the air blower to blow the water out of her hair and then finish with the dryers as it makes it faster and I do not want wet pups. She hates the high velocity dryer but I only use it enough to make drying with my usual dryers quicker. She will adjust. She's not terribly irritated and seems to appreciate getting back to the pups quicker.

Pups are doing well. I did a video with hair unbrushed - that busy but attepted to do individual looks at the pups. I tried twice. I am not great at it but I vow to get better.

You can see it in the videos here.

Over a Full Day Old

Here is the gallery.

This was Hallie 1st thing this morning before combing her out. I did comb her out today already. Usually moms have discharge for a week or 2 after delivery but she looks like it is minimal for her so no dirty blankets. That makes it easier for me so far.

All pups have gained. One minimal. Not a concern as they usually lose and the one minimal is the last born. He may also be a small one moving forward. Too early to know. I have had litters lose across the board waiting for milk for 2 days. Then they start gaining. It is only problematic if they are tiny - which none are. They fed well in womb. They are feeding and latching on now since birth really well and their tummies are getting full as they sleep between feedings. When they try to feed constant, they expel energy making them lose. This crew is doing REALLY well and are lively and do find mom for the most part.

Since birth and in order of delivery

Boy 1 gained 6/8oz 20g

Girl one gained 5/8oz 16g

Boy 3 gained 7/8oz 25g

Boy 4 gained 1-1/8oz 33g

Boy 5 gained 6/8oz 21g

Boy 6 gained 5/8oz 23g

Boy 7 gained 2/8oz 7g

Hallie is so happy and proud. I guess 2 her other litter and now 7 is magical for her as she glows. She smiles widely and wants to show them off. Look mom - look dad - I have 7.

I did place up new videos and will do a couple of more today. Hallie is eating really well and no issues with bowels which is usually the norm. Her body has handled this well.
