15 Days

I have not seen any attempted walks today but I did have a chocolate boy fussing. so I picked him up and he stared and stared at me as if I was a martian. You had to see it. It was funny and then I tucked him in close and caressed him and he melted. Oh, I guess this martian isn't so bad, after all.

All the pups are plump and they really really like soft blankets. I had one snuggling his body into an extra soft blanket - the one you see in this photo above.

Eyes Two Weeks and Walk

With his tongue sticking out and his eyes open, he is the last of Hallie's pups to open his eyes.

We also have attempted walking going on. Exciting times. Within the week, they will all be walking - just wait and watch.

As they attempt to walk, they will expel a lot of energy so their weight gain will slow down. Come in a week, they will also be impossible to weigh as they will attempt to jump out of the scale. So, I spot weigh them when they are tired. LOL

Day 13 Nails and Eyes

Here is the gallery.

All but one pup has eyes open today. Nails are done and pups are gaining and doing well. I do notice some interaction between each other. So it begins.

The last one with his eyes closed is mostly all chocolate. He may be opening tonight and if he does, I will post his photo here. If not, he will surely have his eyes open tomorrow.

Day 12 Two Eyes Open

First born has his eyes open today.

Second born is a girl and she has her eyes open too. You will see in the gallery.

Everyone is gaining weight. I sound like a broken record.It takes about a week after eyes open to try to walk and to interact with each other. Their eyes are blurry when the 1st open much like when you have your eyes tested and get drops in them but it does getting clearer by the day.

Sometimes when their eyes are open they react to you as if to say who the hey are you but these 2 were laid back and I find each time I hold them, they seem to be fascinated and look and look.

I did try to get on video these 2 with their eyes open.

11 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

As the oldest, each day (ok I fib - many times) I check for eyes opening. It is silly but I love milestones. oooh spoke too soon. They are starting to have slits in their eyes. They are going to open soon. 

Hallie is such a chill mom. She had a puppy fussing and I was grooming. I went in to check out what was wrong. I did see on the ipad that it was far from the rest and these pups like snuggles. As I walk in the room, Hallie is literally pushing her lone pup over to the pileup. I wish I had a video of it as it was so funny. The puppy did stop fussing so she knew.
