16 Days Old Tonight: Gallery Added

Click on This Photo for a Larger ViewTonight I will add a gallery but for now I will add videos for your pleasure. I just love the pups. Do you know I hold and stroke them throughout the day. Now that they can see me (although still blurry) it makes it more special - at least to me. Their eyes are blue at first and will change. A couple don't like getting held on their back and a couple love it. All love getting stroked and snuggled. This one in the photo here is quite a character. She makes me smile.

They really like sleeping under the rails and they are reacting to sound. When we vacuum inside their xpen they jumped a bit as if to say what is that. We will continue to do that so they get conditioned to an upclose vacuum. They also can now hear the tv, the computer, dogs barking, door bells ringing - all the normal every day noises that we have.

I am really hoping I get to experience snow with this crew before they go home. I am a bit selfish and I would love to have that first experience with them but I am getting ahead of myself.

Here is last night and today's videos. Do you see that they are starting to get more active?

Sleeping Again

Pups are sleeping quite a bit. They eat and go approximately 1.5 to 2 hours from the finish of eating till the next time that they need to eat. Roxie's are feeding every hour and a half from the finish of eating. Usually at night time Dennis just feeds them both at the same time. During the day we just do their schedule. Why the difference? Simply put the Adele pups have bigger stomachs so they hold more nourishment at this stage. When they are 3 and 4 weeks it will be interesting as they should be on the same schedule.

Certainly at 4 and 5 weeks they will be as they will both be eating food. Roxie's will just be starting the food and Adele's will have a week jump on them.

Here is the gallery. My battery was dying and I wanted to trade the camera.  They are what they are - sorry. They don't do these pups justice.

I am fascinated by these puppies. I think it's because I love their colours (even though colour shouldn't matter...lol). I love seeing the videos with their eyes open - seems to give more insight into their personalities

Love the expressions when getting their nails cut. All the loving and kisses they get from all of you makes your pups as wonderful as they are, including all the love and kisses from their Moms.
