Eyes Open 'cEPT 1

Click on Photo for Larger View

Today we have squinty eyes open. By tonight I will take another photo and you will see a larger opening. The black and white gal also has squinty eyes but not as pronounced as this one.

This one started interacting with his siblings. I said to Nathan while he also watched - oh my gad they are playing. He was trying to interact. It was ever so cute but I didn't catch it on video. I did catch some play but more dominance games. There will be many more moments.

They are 2 weeks tonight. As the eyes open the ears open. They will hear noises. They will be a tad nervous about their surroundings and they will attempt to walk more. It is a fun time and videos will get more exciting by weeks end, I suspect.

Here are today and last nights videos. I apologize as I am running out of steam. I have dogs to groom, wash as they are now due and so far I have only done Inula and Ella. So, in the next few days I may do less videos but I will do longer ones.

Pups 2 Weeks Tonight

With pups here is my day. I wake up. I weigh pups, I change bedding, I comb and massage moms. I upload videos. I create blogs. Moms need to be fed, loved up and made to feel special. They are what counts. Without them the pups would not be here so I make sure they know how much they are appreciated.

In-between I do laundry. I clean up this room as Dennis tends to leave it interesting. I also try to groom out everyone but most times I juggle and do it inbetween - one here - one there. I wash as I can. As the pups get older it gets to be more work but easier - less juggling. I would have been there if Roxie didn't have pups. :-) So we start again.

I take out the dogs at times. Nathan and Dennis take the dogs out. We have fun with them many many times a day. They also get their naps when Nathan gets his. I do not get a nap. We feed them. We feed the moms about 4 to 6 times a day. When Nathan goes out to the store, I get to handle it all myself till Dennis gets up for the day. That is usually not till after 2 or 3.

Each stage is different work that will include playing outside the xpen many times a day, getting carried through the house and outside. Getting exposures etc

Here is a gallery of the eyes open. Only one says - not now. I wish they were better photos but Nathan was not happy having to hold them for a longer session. He's not feeling well. So they are what they are.

I do believe they are all gorgeous, but the markings and coloring of this one are out of this world.

Great gallery. So exciting to see their eyes open. All so sweet. I look forward to the next few weeks watching them grow.

I cannot believe how much you get done in a day Darlah. As I always say, and mean it, you are AMAZING.
