Oh the Fun Of It All

The pups are truly outstanding. No matter how bad of a day I have or how busy, I always managed to fit them in and I laugh and laugh. They are great medicine for your soul.

They will be surely missed. I am glad Kinsey is staying as she will be good for Misty and for us.

On Friday we have 2 Misty pups departing and 1 Sage. It means on Thursday they get baths and I run ariund like a food to make sure everything is ready. LOL

Jam Packed Day

In 5 days we will be down to 8 pups - oh my - next 5. One will remain till the 12th so Kinsey will have a playmate the last few days.

New Years Day

Tote bags are done. Just finished them a bit ago. The one above is Lachlan doing a play bow. The food and treats etc will go into this.

Here's another with Chubby. Next the blankets can't be done as I can't get a waste unit for my sub printer till late the 4th. I am not having fun. I am going to prep everything in case I can fit it in. It was going to smoothly. nathan keeps saying how much - how much. <sigh>

We are busy with just 6 days to go till the 1st 3 departs. Only 5 days till baths and photos.Trying to make this experience extra special for all of you!

The Toys

This crew really loves the toys - all 11 of them. They also love, love play. They don't cry to go out but they look at you - hey it is time. Some of the pups run into the kitchen and jump all over the adults. Some of the adults enjoy. Others go what are these gremlins?

This toy above is an interesting one. They bat it around and it wobbles and then they pick this huge thing up and run with it.

There is an interesting one with Bailey and the gal. Gal's name is Kinsey.

The Fun of the Toys

The pups really love the tunnels. We have trie a bunch. Some are better than others. They also like toys that crackle, throw, squeak and play tug with.

I have a toy that I didn't try on them. It needs to be fixed but a past fave. It's not sold. It was made for us. I will have to take a photo. I need empty bottles to drill to make it usable again. Nathan isn't handy with tools so it's on me but hopefully by next litter. It's a real fave and anyone handy can make one.

Pups have had a real blast today. Today, for the 1st time they cried at 705am to get us to come get them. That was a first but each time I looked at them, they were sleeping.

They are eating well and hungry 1st thing.

Short Blogging

I always get my mornings with these guys no matter how busy I am. That is why I am grooming as soon as I finish this blog and then will do the main blog after I am done.

I have started getting their stuff together. Having Spirit in the equation makes me nervous but we will get there. As soon as I know which pup will go to whom, I will work inbetween groomings and may forfeit my time with the pups if time is an issue. That makes me sad but hey it is what it is. 

These pups are WONDERFUL. Each and every one of them. I will sorely miss them! Don't tell me you will have more pups - yes, we will but each is unique. 

Just Saying

I placed down 6 Duck Treats and no one growled or tried to possess. They shared and then I put in the additional 5. We will see how their bowels are. I start doing this now to test them in a variety of treats.

I was starting to do things for pups to go home. My printer ran out of ink. LOL nathan will hae to go to Staples 1st thing.

Accomplishments

Pups are getting better at everything they do. They run, they jump with enthusiasm. It is delightful to watch.

Today I started getting things ready inbetween other things even unexpected things.

I realized I have very little time to get everything done and until pups are assigned, I can't do all that I need to do as the microchip # needs to go on everything. Usually people get in their choices right away and pertinent info is easy when you have boys names. On the 7th 3 pups depart. Add Spirit in the equation and I could be in trouble having to delay etc as I do not have stuff done so please get it in by tonight. There are just too many of you that have not. <sigh>

All of these pups are amazing beings. I mean that sincerely.

Vet Visit

1st Born - Not quiet

4th born - half mustache - mid range activity. This puppy smiles often. Warch the galleries.

5th born full matache disappearing Quieter but playful. Loves tug.

7th born - very interesting personality. Black at base of body at tail.

All the pups are absilutelt wonderful. The vet was impressed with both litters.

Last Visit

We had our last 8 week visit.

This is the time to make your top 3 choices and send them to Nathan. He puts them on a chart and we both look at them. Please do so by early tomorrow evening as people wait to hear. Everyone is anxious, I am sure. Please also send your name choice and all pertinent info so I can start in on the bags, registration etc. It is imperative that I do this early as Spirit is due. Nathan would like to notify everyone Tuesday night or at the latest Wednesday morning. Please be aware that if we get 1 hold out mulling it over everyone must wait. I do not say this lightly but they are all amazing pups. I mean that sincerely. 

I hope everyone is excited. Us, we will miss them but happy to hear news and photos etc.

1 blanket with mom's and littermates scent. We do this ahead of time so all blankets have all the puppies and mother's scent not just those that are left. 

If I have time to create more personalized items, I will. We shall see.

We ask that you bring a sherpa bag or a quality bag. The amazon basic and cheap ones collapse. It must be a large one. 

Pups will get a full spa treatment the night before they depart with photos posted.

What have I missed? Just ask. I am tired so surely I missed something. 

8 Week Afternoon Visit Day 1

Well the 1st day of the 8 week visit has concluded. Tomorrow we will have 1 more and then the vets on Monday. I want you to laugh. Tomorrow we have the visit and I have 5 full grooms to do before they depart.

Nails and Play

People are coming and I was looking around and saying do I have to clean? Oh, I so need to be chill - relax - less than totally tired.

I love how the pups feel after a bath. I still need to do pads and will it be today or will it be tomorrow?

Over 8 Weeks Now

Tomorrow baths. Saturday and Sunday visits and Monday vet appointment. Oh boy.

Then we figure out pups, paperwork, bags to go home and all the stuff that goes into them. That's all on me. Before pups depart, Spirit can have her babies. Who will have time to cook, to watch tv? LOL Oh boy...

Pups had no food in their pen at night. Why? The goal is to get them to sleep all night. The plan has begin.

8 Weeks 1 Day Old

Friday we have baths and this weekend we have visits. I have so much to do then. LOL
