King Kong's New Family

King Kong, Misty's last puppy has departed but she has her puppy that resides here. Who I may add will be thrilled that Mom will be back playing with her. 

I suspect she will take over Chai.

Misty has some truly outstanding pups and they will be missed. Now Chai from Saffron - well we will let that unfold. You will hear her barking at her mom as she wanted the toy. You will see it in the video.

Tomorrow the last pup will depart of Sage's then xpens will come down and Chai will have to deal with the dogs and the visitors. 11am Nicky departs.

King Kong's Last Bath

How did King Kong do? As you will see in the gallery, he was a star. 

He will not be going home till tomorrow evening. He is the last Misty pup to depart. He had his bath while the others were playing and he was patient and waited to go up and play with them.

Josie: Start of her Forever Journey

I can't believe we are down to 3 now. Josie has an extra long drive to the Ottawa area. Although cold, I think the weather is clear so they should make it home soon. 

The pups here are extra quiet. Josie was a big player so we shall see how they do with 3.

Josie is such a wonderful player. Wish she lived closer but I could already feel the love going out to her.

Meet Josie

Here is her bath gallery.

What a riot of a gal she is. With this pose, I think of that oldie song - Stop in the Name of Love.

She had no issue with the bath - the blow drying. She wasn't complaining about photo taking and being strung up against the wall but he poses tell me - really - we are going to do this AGAIN?

This one is going all the way to Kanata so she has a big drive but we have made that drive with pups before and they were fine. We will tucker her out before departure. 

Missing them already. After she departs, we have King Kong and Nicky then Chai remains. My day off is Monday and I may stay in bed all day. LOL

Should go out just to go out.

We are about to head back upstairs. Nathan will carry them up. I will play with them. We will have an expelling energy blast!

No one departs tomorrow. This gal in the back will get her bath on Thursday. She has a long ride home to Ottawa.We have made this drive many times with pups without incident. She should be okay. I will include a puppy pad in case they need it.

The Day of 5

Pups are not missing a beat. They played and played. It is my day off so only videos and photos from this morning. 

The rest of the pups want to get out again while nathan is washing a Sage pup. 

No one departs today but 1 departs tomorrow from Sage's crew.

No Gallery Day

We are just having the videos and galleries in the Sage blog as that is who is departing today. Sorry about that.

Tomorrow is my day off and we have a puppy departing Tuesday so Nathan for the 1st time will wash and dry the pup. This ought to be interesting. I will fill the tub and get it ready and he will wash and dry and I will take photos. It's not a complete day off but just like Dennis learning to do snowball removal from dogs, Nathan needs to know how to wash a puppy, don't you think? It is time. No other day works for me so it is the best I am going to get. 

Last Full Day as 7

Pups had fun playing upstairs. I had the 1st session and Dennis had the next 2 - well he is about to have one now, which will be their 3rd play session. 

These 2 are totally bonded but I think the whole 7 are a cohesive group. It will be interesting when they see us and their siblings in the future - well we hope.

It has been a long day that is not over so I need to get to it.

Meet Talemaker's Josephine B  <-- hope that's just a B at the end. 

They are lucky to get her. She will make them laugh and smile for her entire lifetime. The Misty duo gets to stick around till the 3rd and 4th. Last one departs on the 5th.

First Snow First Outdoors

Here is the gallery.

Meet King Kong. He is sticking around till the 4th so he will have more opportunities to experience outdoors and snow. 

How did they do? They were cold. Some huddled to stay warm but then they started exploring. A foot was lifted on one of the pups which is an indicator that they are too cold so we opened the door and in teh went excited as ever. 

I call this first experience a huge success.

Misty is such a great mom. She so loves playing with the pups and spends most of her time doing so if they are out of their xpen. Sage plays with the pups too but Misty brings it up to a new level. 

It is wonderful to watch!

Momma Misty Grand Mom

Misty sure loves her pups. I hope she semi-adopts the one that is staying. She has an interesting relationship with her boy. She just gets him going every chance she can as she loves the play. She is such a great play monkey amd her pusp will be that way. Fun Fun Fun!

I believe this groups is highly cohesive. You see them as a unit of 2. I bet they see themselves as a unit of 7. That is what happens when you merge 2 or 3 litters. They truly are siblings and in this case, they are related.

They have really become quite good at climbing, jumping but open their xpen and they do not come out. What a riot.

Sunday With the Crew

Are you running in my direction? I ask, as I won't run that way and will cut you off at the pass. This boy is always thinking. He makes me laugh. He is always thinking the process through.

Why waste energy when you can be 1st by stopping halfway. What a smartie pants. 

By the way, I opened the door to the xpen and not one climbed out. hmmm
