Who is checking whom out?

Ollie is doing really well in his new home!

What a darling he is and he looks right at home. I think the cat is saying, “when are you going home”? 😂

Yes, your little sweetheart looks firmly established in his new home, much to kitty's bemusement. Our nine-month old Havanese actually gambles like a lamb as he chases our ten-year old female ragdoll. They do have some tender moments but these are rare at this point. We are hopeful for a calmer relationship as Desi matures.
Your family will be entertained constantly.
Congratulations! Ollie is a treasure! 💕

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments!! Ollie is definitely right at home and everyone says it seems like he’s always been here. Which is very interesting! He is a perfect fit for us. He hasn’t even had an accident he hits the pee mat every time. He is so gorgeous he doesn’t even look real. He looks like a stuffed toy! When he lies on his back asleep amongst his stuffed toys it is very reminiscent of that scene out of ET. Hard to tell who’s real and who’s not lol. Our 5 year old ragdoll Charlie has been fabulous with him. He did give him two little warning head bonk when Ollie highly a good approach would be to run full force barking at him to show him who’s boss. He knows now that the answer is Charlie 🤣but they sniff each other and Charlie has been completely at ease with Ollie in the house. We couldn’t love our talemaker Havanese more. What a gem.

They look so cute together !
If Charlie is anything like my ragdoll, Charlie will always win !! 😊😊

So far Ollie is winning!!! It’s shocking but Ollie has really put Charlie in his place lol best puppy ever. I can’t believe how perfect he is in every way.

Rochelle, I have a Talemaker dog Mateo and a Ragdoll cat too. I had Annabelle, the Ragdoll cat before I got Mateo. I love watching them interact, and the little cues they give each other when they want to play. I love it when Annabelle runs full force almost galloping and actually jumps high over over Mateo and keeps going. She wants Mateo to chase her, which he does.
Your family has a beautiful puppy to cherish. I am so happy for you.

Thank you so much!! I thought ollie was winning but really Charlie our rag doll was being a sweet boy and giving Ollie his space for the first few days to see what he was all about and to hopefully bide his time till his owner came to get him
I guess he realized he was staying (lol) which he was ok with until
Ollie thought backing him into a corner in the powder room
And barking at him to come play was a good idea. Whoops lol. Charlie gave him a bop to the side of the head and Ollie yelped. He wasn’t hurt I think he was more like what kind of angry dog ARE you?? Now they hang side x side and Ollie has learned to respect Charlie. Charlie had to set his boundaries with Ollie and he did. Animals always find a way to work it out.
