The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid is a recognized National Pet First Aid Certificate course for dog and cat professionals and pet owners. Talemaker Havanese now has that certificate having taken and passed the course.

The eyes seem to have slits. The eyes open may not happen for a few days but it won't be too long.
They now find there way under the blankets to either get away from the heat or get warm.
I was stroking one of the pups and they rubbed themselves up against my hand. Now that warmed my heart.

Stormy's 5 boys are getting big. How do they compare in size to Raven's litter?
OMG are they beautiful and gorgeous colouring. So sweet.
Huge difference but Raven's started out 4 ounces lighter at birth as Raven is small. I expected even smaller. Add 4.5 days of growth to it and when you factor that in they are still a few ounces smaller on the growth curve but each line grows differently. Oh and Stormy has 10 functioning nipples and Raven has only 7 - sometimes 8. More than you want to know but all and all Raven's will be smaller. Stormy's will be bigger much like Cinnamon and Ella but they have different growth curves and are different size dogs. I want you to know that one of the Saffron pups that we placed ended up being in size after a year and a half. LOL The lines do have different growth patterns and some stop growing earlier than others.
