17 Days Old
Who is the most animated? The 3rd born and he is a boy. You can often find him exploring and calling to mom.
They actually seem to be on a similar timeline to Spirit's which I find is fascinating given they are 4 days younger.
Unfortunately starting in the New Year, our costs will go up. Please contact nathan for updated costs.
The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

The pups are starting to play with each other and they are noticing the toys.
All the pups are now over 1 pound. They have fat tummies and so enjoy snuggles.
They are such a great group. They love you doing tummy rubs. It makes you want to do them more but sleep they must.
Have you ever noticed a puppy twitching while it is sleeping on video? What does this mean?
We call this twitching Activated Sleep. Twitching helps build the puppies muscle tone which helps give the puppies strength to stand and walk on their own. These funny looking twitches also sends off bursts of neuronal firing which plays an extremely important role in motor coordination. In essence, they are growing and developing. Twitching is a key indicator that the puppy is healthy and developing normally. But to some it appears cute and to others concerning but other than wondering what puppies dream of, all is good!
The pups are now starting to try to get up on their legs and walk. It's a riot and #3 is the best. They do like to look around.
Here are their weights tonight.
Boy 1-1-3/8oz 404g
Girl 2 14-7/8oz 424g
Boy 3 1-2-1/8oz 516g
Girl with Spash 1-3-1/8oz 543g
Where were Spirits at 4 days ago?
1-2-1/8 Boy and 1-6/8oz
So not much difference. I think they are on track to be together when they are mobile.
Life can be a yawn. I finally decided to open my eyes says 1st born. Now we all have eyes open.
Here is the eyes open gallery.
Can't wait till they walk. How exciting will that be?
I can't believe the younger set is 2 weeks old tomorrow. Really 2 weeks? Lots of fun coming in a week or two. Can't wait.
4th born gal with white splash on her back does have her eyes open. She opens. She closes and then sleeps. LOL
This is the 3rd born boy. These photos were taken this morning as I had a very busy day grooming. Their eyes are really open now.
This means the only one to remain is 1st born boy. I suspect he will be tomorrow.
I can't wait till they start walking and getting curious. As soon as they start attempting walking, we will take them out of their whelping box. The blankets will come down so they can look at each other. Then eventually they will be together. Going to be a fun journey.
Leave it to the got to eat too fast but now doesn't littlest one of all 6. She has opened her eyes first. I suspected it would be her as for the last 2 days I have seen squinty eyes on her. Here is her gallery. She is so pretty. Who will be the next? Spirit's boy ot another Tempie pup? They do have squinty eyes.
11 days old aready. They are all gaining well and Tempie is a wonderful mom. Can't wait till all their eyes are open.
The littlest is trying to get up on her legs.
I do believe Tempie has all tri-colour babies - how outstanding is that? We have never had an entire litter as tri-colours. The eyebrows - all of it - nice! They are beauties!
The one pictured above is mighty comfie. Dogs do not sleep on their back unless they are comfortable with their environment.
They are snugglers. They so love to be held. Can't wait till they have eyes open and are mobile.
In the gallery you will see a few side by sides with Spirit's pup. Then I had Nathan hold and I put those photos in Spirits gallery.
What a fun comparison.
I still see squinty eyes on this crew but the earliest they can open their eyes is 10 days old. It will be interesting to see when they do.

Here is the gallery.
This crew may actually be shorter in body. I should put them together for a shot tomorrow and check it out. They are gaining as they should. They are fat puppies that like you to hold them. It's delightful.
