Picnic Photos & Details

The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

Woofstock Is Back

Meet us at Woofstock. Dogs are welcomed. We meet at the restaurant across the street from Woodbine Park. Here is the location. Meet up happens on June 22, 2024 at 9:30 to 945am. Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid is a recognized National Pet First Aid Certificate course for dog and cat professionals and pet owners. Talemaker Havanese now has that certificate having taken and passed the course.

First Solid Food

We were going to wait a few days then start this crew on solid food. But as we had the food out we figured why not see how they will take to it. 

Be sure to watch the video to see how they did.

As you can see from the photo above, swimming in it was desirable for at least 1.

It is fun seeing them start to get the idea of solid food. The black boy sure took to it quickly! I think I can tell the two brown pups apart - it looks like the boy has lighter color markings on his face while the girl has darker markings (or did I get it backwards?)

The two solids *not really solid) is a girl and a boy. The girl has a red tint to her, The camera doesn't seem to pick up the right colouring all the time depending on the lighting in this room. The girls are, the largest red tint sable more solid, the white collar, 1 with a splash of colour on the collar and one without. The boys are the dark brown and white and the brindle boy that looks solid but without the red tint.
