4 Weeks 4 Days Old

We spend a lot of time taking 1 puppy at a time out to condition them. Of course each time we clean the pen they are all out together playing. You can see it on some of the videos.

The 10 pups have truly meshed quite well.

Be sure to check out the videos.

By tomorrow night we hope to have them upstairs without their moms with us watching them via our ipads across from the hall. They are so close that we can hear them as well. This is the start of the process we do to get them used to being without mom so when they go to you the transition is not so difficult. Moms usually fret the 1st night and come morning are running to the xpen where they are excited to see them. The next night is easier till they know that they are safe and they get to see them in the morning. I have had moms watching the ipad and listening to them and some not looking at it at all. Needless to say I do not get much sleep but seeing you see video from the wee hours, am I ever sleeping? LOL

Here is the gallery.

Pups play out in the hall twice a day now.  I believe it is one of the easiest 2 crews to mesh. Soon we will set upstairs and they will get new places to get exposed to. They do really well playing together in and out of the pen.

Here is the gallery of hall play with all 10.

Glad to hear that the two litters mesh well. Bodes well for the lifelong ties we hope to establish with Beau our beautiful Talemaker Havanese. Can't wait to meet them - the two litters look so precious!
