12 Plus Hours Old

Pups are doing well. All gained so mom has a good supply of milk. One fussed off and on all night and I realized that one ate the most and had to have output. Silent since that occured. Misty refuses to go outside. But she wants to go to the kitchen to prance and say look at me!

Dennis is now sleeping after no sleep before he took over for the night shift. He was nice enough to take dogs out this morning, do pickup etc before heading to bed. Nathan fed the dogs and did the dishes. He has had to say - I can. I finished a dog that is departing, took videos, did a gallery and put water out. I am about to comb out Misty.
I woke up a bunch to look at the pups on the video. You can catch all the videos here.
I did notice one has colour on her cheeks - a tri-colour.
The pups are absolutely rolly polly and doing ever so well.

Whenever a new batch of pups are born it reminds me of the early days with Pingo!

Congratulations on 5 new Talemakers.
It will be so much fun watching them develop and grow. Now anxiously waiting for Raven to have her puppies but hopefully after all of you have had a chance to catch your breath.

Oh wow......so gorgeous! And all black and whites! Wow again! Congrats to all. What a great job for first time mom, Misty! It will be so much fun watching as these beauties get bigger, and seeing how their markings look with growth. I just love when there are puppies to watch!

She was such an easy whelper and a natural. Nothing was normal. Pups early, carried them up high so you couldn't feel and they were of a size so she was feeding them well in utero. :-)

Hope Dennis gets a good sleep today to start to switch over to nights. It's really tough the first few nights, I can attest.
Misty must have strong genetics to produce 5 black and whites, well you say one is a tri. Beautiful babies all of them. Hope you catch up on some rest tomorrow as your day off was interrupted.
If you end up with an extra after all the puppies are born, Poppy would love a companion.
