Changing Times

Here is the gallery.

The pups were upstairs without mom. They seem to have slept most of the night. I did upload videos earlier and have to check if I have anymore. As it is my day off, Dennis will be bringing them out for their next play session but he won't take videos or photos. He will invest the time playing with them. That is okay too.

They did really well. Momma was a bit - well mom can I see the babies? She kept me up part of the night and each time I went to take a video, they were mostly sleeping. I call 1st night a success. They will start to understand the routine. They mostly slept in the crate together.

I think the 6 week visit is already planned. We also have the 8 week vet visit.

The  pups are plain fun. They climb over your legs, go through the tunnel and I am finding they truly enjoy these play sessions.

The pups are starting to perfect their skills.

Lots of Changes

6 week visit is coming up soon. Nathan sent mail to the 2 lucky families.

Here is the gallery.

We are having a lot of changes. The pups travelled in the sherpa bag for the 1st time. They went outside in one, back inside and then upstairs and back downstairs in it. The pups are cute. They appear to embrace all the changes.

We headed upstairs today for the 1st time and they were wandering all over the place. It was great to see. I also have an activity mat that both really enjoyed.

We have some delightful videos that I will be uploading shortly. You will see visually how well they are doing.

Tonight they are heading upstairs in an xpen without mom all night. We shall see how that goes. Tomorrow you will see the photos and videos from that. Are they ready? I believe they are. But we shall see!

4 Weeks 4 Days: New Change

Here is the gallery.

As it was raining, we had a 1st time hall play near our entryway. Pups were walking on the floor well. The gal was mega exploring. The boy kept being social. It was a great 1st experience.

Some of the dogs was sniffing up the pups - mostly the gal. The adults were fascinated. Ooooh puppy puppies! In a couple of weeks we will start having the older dogs play with them. They had 1 play session in the hall and one outside when it stopped raining.

Tomorrow we will be placing them upstairs. This will be yet another new experience. The goal is to always but slowly expose them to different environments. So far the pups are doing really well with it all.

Next big step is the 6 week visit after upstairs. Lots of changes.

Videos coming in a few.

4 Weeks 3 Days Old

Today is the last day the pups will be exposed to the younger set. They looked forward to them. Still had to keep reminding them to not pick them up high. It was a challenge but the pups really really liked them.

Here is the gallery.

I may take them out one more time. The parents aren't back yet - still downtown. Who knows now what time they will depart. The pups really like going outside. They are growing up.

They do not have teeth yet. They are investigating their surroundings without a concern in the world. They like it outside.

We are trying to figure out if they will go upstairs without mom for the evening from 10pmish till 7am. None of us have any energy as we have to set up the area. Put a camera in so I and momma Hallie can watch them. Maybe Monday - Wednesday. One of those days. This will begin their next chapter of being semi independent and dealing with yet another environment.

The 6 week visit will just be 2 families. Wow - so soon.

I hardly took videos. I think only 3. Sorry - as its been one of THOSE days. It happens.

4 Weeks 2 Days Old Outside and Inside

Here is the gallery.

The grandkids have been here since early this morning so we had them out with the pups. You will see in the videos that I will upload shortly.

These puppies have not missed a beat. They took on changes without blinking an eye. It is wonderful to see them take on the changes and embrace them. We took them out before it got too hot and glad we did. It is rather hot now.

The pups are absolutely DELICIOUS!
