Pup is Here

It is a girl. She was born at 8:51am. She is a tricolour. She weighs 6-2/8 oz 178g. She is eating well.

Mom is well though she had piercing screams but only for a very short time. Nathan wouldn't allow the gal to go back in and all was smooth. Gal and mom are doing well.

I am fried as I have not had sleep. I mean really fried. Going for a nap. I must. Nathan will be on watch and Dennis with the dogs.

No Sleep for Me or Spirit

Spirit Taken at 8am TodayHere is the digging going on this morning. If I fell asleep for 5 minutes and really it was 5 minutes as I watched the clock on my ceiling, she would push up hard against me. I would check if any progression and try to watch something to stay awake. No crying. She is this morning so some progression. I cancelled groomings. 

I am glad the electrician was here yesterday as now puppy can be warm and all is working. I really need sleep. 

One Singleton

She is digging and due anytime. Concerning is the pup is large but we have done this before. If we do have an emergency as in a c-section, we are busy trying to have things in place. We shall see how it all unfolds. She may whelp naturally and we are experienced.
