So What is That?

I get asked all the time - are their ears going to stay up like that? Is there something wrong? No. Her ears flap up depending on how she moves her head and eventually the weight keeps it down for the most part. If she jumps like crazy it may stay that way. Personally, I think it is cute.

This puppy I swear each morning someone winds her up and she jumps up and down in mid air as if its a new day and I am so excited about it. Sometimes you go please... can you kick it down a notch and she keeps it up and you go okay - you have me smiling. We have had some pretty high energy dogs but she is a sail through the air, jump, climb on top of the crate gal. This is a Nathan type of dog. But she will be mine as Nathan will be out of commission for a couple of months. I hope I don't change her for his sake. It won't be intentional.

Interesting Outside

Who was the last down the stairs? Interesting enough, Spirit's gal. Even the littlest Sage beat her down and she doesn't have size on her side.

No Photo Day

Spirit's gal will be staying with us. It had become obvious that this may have to be a possibility so we held out one. It all unfoldded as we suspected it would. Right up to this last week, we promoted her to have some independence from her mom but it did not pan out. They are like 2 peas in a pod. I have never seen such a tight bond. Other moms have had singletons and it all unfolds.

I truly had no plans to keep another even though she will make a good continuation of that line. With all that is going on, it would have been better to wait till her next litter. But sometimes things are just to be. 

So, due to dragging our feet and attempting to get her into a position of being independent enough to be in another home - well she is no name. She is Nathan's type of dogs - a hellion on wheels. Will she calm down? Time will tell. But she will be the last one standing here and the other 2 moms correct her immensely. 

2nd Day 1st Visit

The pups had fun. i believe we had fun. It was great to see Duncan again. Weather is good. We could have been outside but I have to wash a dog that will be departing and then we have another visit at 3pm.

1st Visit
