Short Blog

Here is the scoop. We had Helen and Suzie over and I was videotaping the pups and I had to keep shutting it off and deleting whole sections. No one should talk about Trump on a puppy video. No one should talk - well we won't even go there but I was laughing. Still, you got shorted as not many videos and the one outside was reduced to hardly anything. Usually I do not edit at all. oh boy...

Here is today's gallery.

Puppies are now going up and down that slide with ease. Puppies have their vet visit on the 10th. Wow already.

Tomorrow I promise more videos and photos. There are just some days....

Pavers, Grass, Swimming and After Play

What a full day we had. The pups were in the grass before but with a blanket Now they had free run. Pavers, grass, swimming, after swimming - well they were wonderful!

Here is the gallery.

Also be sure to check out the videos.  You will be able to see them swimming and so much more.

There is something special about white chin. He is so adorable sleeping. I believe he is a thinker.

They are all great in their own way.

Tomorrow we have friends over so blogs will be short. I think I more than made up for that with the gallery and videos today. Hope so!

6 Week Visit

Going to keep this short but we missed the rain for the 6 week visit - hooray! Next visit in 2 weeks.

Here is today's gallery. Sorry if I wasn't clicking or taking enough video. The video is the raw data I took. It's already uploaded.

Pups slept for a few hours after the visit and have now just got back from walking around the pool and up the paths with the son. Now that the grass is short when we get a couple of days of dryness we will get them playing there too.

Jessie comes for a visit before they go home so they will get some big dog exposure and they will also get some time with Inula. We wait for Inula as she doesn't seem to know where her feet are and I want to make sure they can negotiate her movements.

Hope you enjoyed yourself. Choco is now sliding down the slide tonight. hahahahaha

Fun Bath Time and More

This is the night time gallery.  We play outdoors several times a day. Plus here is the bath gallery.  How did we do? Everyone did really well and some downright relaxed to the max. #1 born boy did not like the sound of the bathing beauty. It is rather loud and he jumped when I turned it on while he was in the sink. I learned my lesson and turned it on after the rest got in teh sink. But still he was fine.

Here is yet another play gallery. They got a new small slide. We got them acquainted with it. Some did better than others and found solutions. By 8 weeks they will be running up and down in.

They are playing with a variety of the bigger dogs but are not big enough yet for say Inula. That will come.

WE are excited about the visit tomorrow but hoping it doesn't rain at 11 as it is more fun outdoors for the pups than being confined with a lot of people in the kitchen. Mother nature will do what they will do. Don't come till 11am. Always someone comes at 1030 and we have to send them away as we are usually getting pups ready, drying floors etc. If it is raining we MUST wash floors or you will be sitting in the mud the bigger dogs drag into the house. So, please understand. it is worse now that I have ripped up a bed. Mud is too common with rain and we wash and wash and wash literally like today. :-(

You will enjoy the pups. I so adore them!

6 Weeks 1 Day Old

We had an escape artist caught on video. It wasn't his first escape but the 1st we caught on video. When you are determined and your mind is working.... Watch the video on youtube.

Here is today's gallery.

This blog is going to be short as I am so thoroughly exhausted. I weeded for 3 plus hours then groomed. I even groomed Tenshi and you will see her in with the pups as messy as can be. Love it!

Tomorrow we have a big day. The pups and Roxie are getting baths. Thought we would get them in the pool but the weather is not cooperating. We will after the 6 week visit.

A Big 6 Weeks Old

This is how Nathan reacts if a tooth makes a connection with any part of him. You over react, you make a loud noise to catch their attention and you stop the play. They are not trying to hurt you. You see their brothers are less sensitive than we are but they too will yelp and stop the play. This is a normal process where they learn to use a soft mouth. When they realize they kiss you. It's not frequent but it does happen at this stage. This is called bite inhibition and they are learning it. By the time they go home they will have this process down.

Here is today's gallery.

We expanded the deck area and they just expanded their play area. If it gets too hot they go under the outdoor sofa that we have out there. It was a Mother's Day gift for me one year. We use it more now that its on the deck.

Two more days and baths.... oh boy!

Almost 6 Weeks Old

Here is the hallway gallery. Plus here is the outdoor gallery.

This boy will be smaller. He is a lovee. He wags his tail a mile a minute happy to see you. I can't wait to see this crew with their new families. I tend to watch and film this way I do not miss anything and I can see how the pups are doing. It gives me insight. It is such a fun event. Sometimes at 6 weeks they last a half hour if that. This crew seems to play longer but sleep more soundly. I love their ability to play then rest when they need to.

Vet visit is July 10th. Time seems to be going by way too quick.

5 Weeks 5 days Old

We had storm conditioning today plus don't bite and hey that's not who you feed off of. They are learning by the hours it seems. These pups are great. I so enjoy them. Lately it's been just me and the pups or Dennis and the pups. As I type the pups are looking at me as if to say - is it time yet? They are so polite!

Here is today's gallery.

How did they do with the thunder? No issue. The pelting rain on the gazebo top - no reaction. They get curious about birds making the sounds that they do.

Tonight they had ground beef mixed in their kibble and they went yum. Bowels remain great. No issues.

Be sure to check out the videos.

5 Weeks 4 days Old

Pups are learning bite inhibition from us and their siblings. What does that mean? They bite, someone yells and stops the play. It is how they learn. they do not realize how they went from gumming each other to having to learn a soft mouth. This is how they learn. Mom will even stop feeding them if they use their teeth when feeding. They learn to be soft with her too.

Here is the gallery for the day. We were out 3 times but I only took video and photos twice. Sometimes I simply want to play without a camera. I hope you understand.

They were placed up on the ramp today with different results. Tomorrow I will Velcro a cover on it so they have a grip. I also have a slide I must build tomorrow. Going to see if I can find more play mats as they are soft when they spill. I rather like them.

The pups are not demanding. They last quite a bit of time so come next Saturday. You will have a LOT of fun. They are so delicious truly!

I took 2 videos outside and in one of them you will see that one bites the other and what happens. It is a process of learning and right now they are learning daily. See the videos.

Oh and this boy up above has colour coming in on his back.

5 Weeks 3 Days Old

What a fun gang. They have teeth. They are learning not to chew and nibble. They are enjoying the adults or older pups. they go out several times a day. They get so excited. Finally a day without rain.

Here is today's gallery.

They seem to have had no issue with upstairs and for the most part they are sleeping.

In one week they will have so many changes. We will try them in the pool. They will have a bath. they will meet their humans. In less than 3 weeks they will see the vets.

I am extra tired tonight so trying to keep this short.
