You Have Mail

If you do not receive yours, please send us an email. Please copy me on the email with all the pertinent info and the date desired for pickup.

Ella's pups can start going home Saturday on - Friday if you really want the entire weekend. This is a reference statement so you have dates to work with.

My email address is darlah@potechin.com

This will save Nathan from my repeated requests if he received the pertinent info. He does not check his email like me.

These pups will be 10 weeks on Saturday. How did that happen?

Upstairs With Raven's Willow

The pups immensely enjoyed having Raven's Willow here to play with. Willow also played with the adults as you can see on our main blog gallery.

This is the gallery of the 3 crew plus Willow. They had a blast!

Lovee

I just love this gal. If I could keep an Ella gal - well what a smarty pants she is. I love her eyebrows coming in. Whichever home gets this one, I hope they like to swim. Ella usually has swimming pups and I can't wait to see if Sky will swim come this summer. Multi generation of jumping into the pool is something to be proud of. I hope its someone that lives close so we can test her in the pool. I would love to test all 3 but we do not base our decisions on who lives the closest so they can be tested with swimming. I wish.... It's about the best home for the right pup.

Tonight's blog will be short. I am spent today!

Visit and Pre Visit

Here is the gallery with Gucci and the pups before the family visit.

Pups had a blast before the visit then took a nap. Then they had a blast during the visit.

Its been a fun filled day for them.

When we have these visits, it is a crazy process. Make no mistake I clean the house daily so what does she need to do? Towels, muddy paws, comb outs of dogs, toilets, appliances, sinks. Then I shower, and make sure the pups are clean even though I checked them in the morning. I like a clean house but mud and dawgs have their own minds and wait till the pups get outside before they depart. If it is anything like today, we will have the pitter patter of mud. One pup - no problem. 11.... hahahahaha

I so look forward to it before they go home. Every puppy needs to muck it up once. LOL

Thank you for coming today.

Play Again

Pups are just about to go upstairs again. They are really good at the running. They now climb up into the high beds.

Here is the gallery of the 3 crew.

Tomorrow I have a morning of grooming dogs - not mine. Mine will be later after the visit. LOL TThen we have the family visit and its going to be fun.

I do not have all the items yet for the bag that goes home with you. Nathan did pick up the food today. Shampoo and conditioner was supposed to have arrived today. It has not come. argh Treats won't arrive till April 2nd. Toys I bought. It will all come together. I was just hoping to have more so the family that is flying could take it back tomorrow. Oh well, she will be able to take the food back. Sorry about that.

See you tomorrow. If I look frazzled, forgive me.

Such Toy Fun

The pups are pretty smart. They have figured out how to eventually get the treats out but some wait and swoop in. The doers and the patient.

Be sure to check out the videos.

I find the adults like this toy equally. It can even be used on a pup that eats too fast. As long as they can get it out, it will slow down their feeding.

The pups truly enjoyed Ollie and Ozzie.

Play is the Name of the Game

This is Ella's girl and Saffron's boy. They play so nice together. I have seen a bit of rough play but that always happens at this age where they figure out their place.

Short blog tonight as I still have grooming to do.

I will be uploading the videos as I groom. LOL

Vet Visit

No issues with any of the 3 crew. car ride was great. Vet visit all great.

Here are their weights

Ella January 26, 2019 - 8 weeks 3 days on day of vet visit
Male black tri 3.44
Black head girl 2.79
Sable and cream gal 2.46

Nathan and I carried each dog 2 by 2 around the vets office to get them accustomed to cars going by on the street, other dogs and even fish and a living wall. I will tell you that Ella's boy tracked the fish and was fascinated with them.

Here is the vet gallery.

The Wet Stuff

She wet us again - what is that about? She says we are off to the vets tomorrow. Imagine that. What is a vet?

Oh my little cutie - look at those eyes.

Today there are no dry photos. I didn't have time. I only had time for group wet shots. I had (still have 1)  very busy grooming schedule.

Here is the gallery of wet and play photos.

Tomorrow is a busy day!

Faves

You can't have faves but our son Jon seems to be so in love with this Ella gal. It's funny what gets our attention and makes our hearts light.

The 3 Ella pups are really outstanding. They make me laugh every single day with that personality plus.

Be sure to check out the videos.

I will be interested in knowing if the black tri is smaller than this one. We will find out at the vets this week. She's a fun one but so is that boy!

Observe and Take the Plunge

I watched this girl look for the moment to go in for the play and get the upper hand. She pauses, waits for an opening and then makes her move. I am impressed with the way she thinks. Ah.... here's my opening - ta da I am here and I am here to play.

Be sure to check out the gallery.

Charlie, a Raven puppy was here and played with the crew. You will see the fun in the gallery.

Tongue Reveal

How do they get this crazy idea of using their tongues for all sorts of things... well look above. hahahaha

The pups are amazing. So is Nathan. He makes me laugh.

Check out the gallery on Saffron's blog.

Plus check out the videos.

Oh the Play

They certainly know how to have fun. Be sure to check out the gallery on Cinnamon's blog. This was the first day that moms could play with the pups without the pups being relentless about feeding off of them. They are no longer feeding them. Ella and Cinnamon has not been feeding theirs for days, Saffrons today is the first full day.

The play that goes on between moms and pusp are critical but if all they want to do is feed, the learning play doesn't come. Plus mother's immunities will wane and shots when they occur are effective.

Be sure to watch the videos.

Creative Play

I have to laugh at the way they play these days. They make me laugh just watching them.

Ella and Cinnamon are no longer feeding their pups. As Saffrons is younger, they most likely will stop in the next day or two.

They are growing up.

Today they had veal added to their food. We like to mix things up to see how their bowels handle it.

Be sure to watch the videos.

You can also find the gallery on Saffron's blog.

Here's Looking At You

I swear this boy poses for me. Does he know what a camera is? LOL

While I was observing the pups, I noticed how the younger set can keep up with the older set almost completely. They do go to sleep slightly earlier than the older ones but they are close now.

When I check at bedtime and I do frequently - its a sickness but I am checking on my ipad - well they are always sleeping now. They play and they sleep soundly - nice!

Be sure to check out the videos.

Look Back Plus Today

Stick out tongue moment on the crowd. Pups have been upstairs today.  They are already sleeping through the night. I check on them and they are asleep each time. They do expel their energy here as we do have them playing.
This is Sky from the 1st breeding. Sire and mom the same. She was a small gal. Still in standard. Have to dig up a photo but she looked awfully like the smiling little one from this litter except this one smiles much more. LOL This one also has darkness around her face and darker ears. Just interesting to compare sizing.

It's the Day After

We seem to be a little quiet this morning. We did play after eating. Now deep sleep. We will probably wake up when the human darlah departs. It's a no gallery day.

Almost 7 Weeks Visit

It was a great honour to share the pups with all of you. They are my babies. Before you arrived, I combed them out. They were excited to come out.

Next visit you will see dogs even more agile and you will start seeing their true personalities. You can get a feel but the most dramatic change will occur over the next 10 days or so.

Someone asked me what dog I liked the best that is an all around dog. I said I can't say at this point and that's the honest to gad truth.

Be sure to watch the videos.

The dogs all have something that makes me smile and then some! I really, really like this crew!

Bath Before Visit

Dennis took the photos except those in the tub, I took those as I could. Dennis is still learning the camera. He says I have no bleepin clue what I am doing. I laughed. Nathan took a nap as he had dogs climbing all over him. I am tired too but someone has to wash the pups. It has been a LONG day.

Here is the gallery.

Ella's pups were great in the bath. Sable and cream gal is a tiny thing. She will remain a small but big personality one.

The boy is the most substantial as usually boys are. I see him as a mid-range boy. The black headed girl is actually a tri and she has colour bleeding through her head. Her colour will change.

Be sure to check out the videos.

How did they do in the tub? They were wonderful. I washed all 3 and put each in a crate with the dryers blowing at them. Then I started in on the 1st and dried each, did pads etc. It took longer than expected. I feel they fussed a little as they were wet and usually I do one from start to finish then continue on to the next but I needed to reduce time.

They look so beautiful freshly bathed, don't you think?
