6 Week Visit
This was an interesting visit. Unfortunately I was unable to take many videos as I was focused on George, so I missed a lot. Plus Saffron kept barking but could not come out as she is in heat. It's the 1st time I didn't get a chance to truly enjoy watching people with the pups. Oh well.... there is the 8 week visit. Georgie needed the attention.
I did find out that the pistol of a boy from Ella's just slept. He must have ate and was playing before arrival. Too bad as he is truly a fun puppy. It's all in the timing. The brown and cream gal was also similar. The 8 week visit maybe someone else will be sleepy. It is why the videos are so important.
Be sure to check out the videos.
Still, I checked in every now and then and captured what I could and it did look like the pups and the humans was enjoying the visit.

I always look forward to the puppy visit videos!
puppy visits are the best!!!
Lucky families.
Did I miss something - I've seen George mentioned before (he looks so much like my previous dog, Charlie, right down the the bullseye on his butt!) - Why does the sweet doggies need the extra attention?
Christine: He barks at people that he doesn't know until he gets to know you. We are working with him to turn that around. So anyone that comes, we try to give them some George time. He's a real sweetheart. He just needs some strange people conditioning. LOL As you know, we try to work on things such as barking. :-)
We do this with the pups we keep too. We put them in everyone's hands and make sure they get the exposure.
Not this week but next we are going to take a few pups out to Treasures moms planting plot near Bolton. Excited to see Treasure and her mom and let the pups run. I get to get my scissors sharpened too while we are visiting. Drop them off before and pick up after.
I get it,the work you did with Farley and Clarity re the barking did wonders. They were lucky to be with you for a consistent period of time. I have a low retaining wall Ali g one ide of my driveway. I sit on it with the two amigos and every time someone walks by we do positive reinforcement with treats. It also helps introduce them to everyone in the neighbourhood, especially kids and dogs as my street is a dead end with a a large school/ playground the size of two blocks. It's working 😊👍
Bravo, Christine. If you do the work it helps them and you! It's a lot of work but the end result is so worth it!
