No Tie Day

We tried. I decided this is fun but not today! We will try later. If not, perhaps 1 time is the charm. It was for Raven and Stormy. LOL

Maybe your wish will come true and you will only have one litter 😉

We shall see! My luck all will be born and I will be losing my mind - fun but oh the work to do it right. Wouldn't do it any other way. Raven is getting as big as a house and Stormy seems to have the start of milk so on December 7th we find out if its a false pregnancy. Only happened to me once and before xray time it was gone. You could tell though. She got a tummy that appeared as if she only had 1 or two then overnight it was gone. Doesn't look so in this case with these 2. It's rare but it happens. I look at it this way, we will be having puppies. Raven and Stormy each had 1 connection only. Cinnamon - well she is connecting as she wants to. What can I say. Not sure Ella is fond of it. Some moms connect when they are most fertile and then they go into protection mode. They only get pregnant during that window. Anything extra is well extra. It doesn't give them more pups.

Looking at my calendar Ella is already on day 14. She may be done. Cinnamon is on day 16. Looks like Ella took on day 12 last pregnancy. Remember the day they take means when the eggs were receptive. That can be up to 3 days before a connection to 3 days after a connection. That is how long the sperm can sit there. Can go nuts wondering. It is why I just wait till the pups kick or xrays. Not fun for the new families but we will be having pups for those waiting.

Exciting times no matter what happens because we know something will happen. It's planned, you and Nathan know what you're doing and so many families are waiting. Beautiful pups in the waiting no doubt :-) And like you said, perhaps after those winter litters, it will be time to take a break and enjoy the summer without new puppies.

Very exciting for sweet Ella :) they will be beautiful pups indeed.
