Play, Play, Play With Mom

Oh Jeannie sure knows how to have fun with her pups. She is busy teaching and helping them perfect their skills.

See the gallery.

The vet called to ask if we could change the appointment for the Jeannie pups till after the New Year. That would put them at 9 weeks for their first shot. We decided it was best to bring them at the same time as the Adele pups as they are well over 2lb. They do not like to vaccinate when they are under 2lbs.

So, we will have 7 pups heading to the vets this week. Oh my! This will mean the Jeannie pups will have their next shot either when they go home or the week after. This works out better for these pups as they will have had their 2nd shot soon after departing giving them protection soon after they head home. As you can get the shots 3 weeks apart, the same window can be done for the Adele pups. If we were to wait till 9 weeks it would mean later for classes, socializing etc.

So, the pups continue to have fun in the front room. Tonight they had their deworming. They will have their last one before they go home. Their bodies seem to be handling the deworming. We do this as a preventative.

Pups get to run around every night after Dennis does the water dishes. He takes them out to play when he cleans up the pens. They have a blast.

Jeannie is so amazing in her helping them be all they are meant to be!

Be sure to check out the videos.
