Temp Drop
Can mean pups in 24 hours. It can mean a false drop which does happen. Her temps this morning was 98.3. She did investigate her whelping box but she did not dig nor is she showing any signs of anything other than the temp drop. I did tie up her hair to give us easier access. I did shave around all her milk stations.
Nathan is off to a club meeting so he is not worried and besides I can do it all but I wouldn't be able to do photos. <smile> Think we are safe. We will report as the day goes on.
If you look at the xray 2 of the pups were in position. One may come out feet first unless it decides to turn around and they do turn around with more room.

Good luck to you and to Jeannie! hope Nathan is back on time so we can see pictures!!! I know, so selfish!!! :)
Yes, Nathan, please get back so we can get this show on the road. I am selfish too. Really looking forward to seeing Jeannie's pups. Patches says, "good luck, Mommy"!! (and so do Radar, Ed and I)...... Ohhhhhh, so excited are we.
Oh my, be still my beating heart!!! Hearty wishes for a safe and easy delivery for Jeannie! Our thoughts and preyers are about you all!
There are NO signs except temp drops so it can be 24 hours from drop or a false drop. I will ledt you know. I am actually washing Murphy now and then Brewer just in case.
Please count days - 63 days from February 17, February 20, and February 22nd. Tell me what you get.
I have: February17- April 20 (without 17),
February 20-April 23 (without 20),
February 22-April 25 (without 22).
I got the same dates as Carmen. I looked at the x-ray again and see the pup faces the wrong way. Then I noticed that one of the pups looks like it's in position to shoot right out 😄
Two are in position, one would be a breech unless it turned. Her temps remain at 98.3
Is Jeannie's milk already in?
no, her milk is not in but her bottom milk stations are puffy meaning it's going to come in. Sometimes it doesn't come in the 1st day and that is why pups lose weight. They only get colostrum. But I suspect (which is normal) hers will come in when she is in full labour.
