3 Weeks Old

Here is the gallery.

We are debating on if it is time for them to come out of the whelping box. Dennis thinks they are too crowded. I think it forces them to search for mom. So, we debate. Nathan says they are too young and then he goes oh they are already 3 weeks.

They are not very active today but Dennis says they were very active last night. I missed it. :-(

I did get videos up.

2 Weeks 6 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

I can't believe I am starting the blogs at 7pm. Yikes. Well the pusp are getting active. It is like watching a mob dance. They will soon need more room. Maybe tomorrow. We shall see. Tomorrow is extra busy so I am not sure.

I did catch some on videos but I need to upload them after the blogs.

Can you believe tomorrow this crew is 3 weeks old? I can't!

Edging Up on 3 Weeks Old

Here is the gallery.

The pups will turn 3 weeks in a couple of days. They have voices. They are playing and they love to be held. Can't get better for me than that!

As this is March Break, I am certainly grooming a great deal. But I managed to get all 3 moms washed today. No matter what I did, they were getting knotted. That is a sign they needed a bath. So, I had them feed their respective pups then washed mom. I usually wait till 3 weeks as the pups go longer between feedings but despite brushing and with pups climbing through their hair, it was necessary.

Videos will be up after I finish blogs. There are some cute ones.

Two Week 4 Days

Here is the gallery.

Hard to believe this crew is 2.5 weeks old. They do play with each other but with my schedule and March Break, it's hard to capture it. It is just the beginning play.

They can now hear as they react to dogs barking when people pick up and drop off. LOL

It is more a curiousity. If they start barking, I may - well you tell me. We do not usually have this much in and out so this will pass.

Videos will be up shortly. As usual, I am behind due to grooming. Momma's plus sage got done this morning. Mom's need baths but I usually wait till pups are 3 weeks.

Short Blogs

Here is the gallery.

I am tired - well exhausted - long day of grooming so blogs will be short. Apologies.

Pups all have their eyes open. They are done being weighed till older and I can use the large flat scale. Every single one manages to jump up and down and try to crawl out of the scale making it impossible to get a decent reading.

Pups are doing well. We have taken one out at a time to say hello to people so they get another look outside their box. This allows them to see new people and new surroundings.

Check out the videos.
