Oh yes she plays her heart out with the pups.
Next puppy Charlie goes home on Monday. That means on Sunday he will get a bath. On Monday he departs and then on Thursday Radar from Roxie's crew departs. He will be the first one from that crew to go to his home.
Oh and yes they can sit on the top of the crate with ease. I think the 2 litters are agile.
It's a busy but fun time here.

They just ADORE outdoors and with this lack of deep cold, they are loving it. I still want to see white stuff but bet they will experience it with their new familes first, I bet.
I guess I will experience it with River and Stone. :-)

Does Adele realize one is gone? Yes. She will adjust. Usually they don't react till the last one departs. But she has one hanging around so all will be well.
Here is a video I took when there were 9 this morning. No sound - just music. That was a Nathan request. We were going through the paperwork etc and that's not fair to have on video.
Pups had visitors today so they played mid day and they are back upstairs running their heads off - well not literally. I can hear the pitter patter of running feet as I type. To say they are having a blast would probably be an understatement.
I just love these pups.
More tomorrow. I need some down time tonight.

That will be so much fun. We also need to sign up for classes so if anyone is interested, let us know.
Going to miss this little one. His siblings and pals are deeply snoozing. Around 2 we will be heading outdoors and adding some video and photos to another entry.

Oh did we have the time of our life. This is the very last full day as 9. How did that happen? Next one goes home on the 14th. Check out our video of our play outdoors. All 9 pups are doing the stairs now up and down.

He wasn't crazy today about a bath. Oh he hardly complained but he didn't play in it. It was as if he said I have other things to do, you know and he does as this is his last full day. He needs to play like crazy and just enjoy. His journey is about to begin and it's going to be a fun one.
He cleans up rather well, don't you think? Here is the gallery of his wet and dry photos. Full size will be sent on request.
He is now upstairs playing with his siblings but no photos will be taken. Dennis just wants play time with them. I will be doing another entry today of all the pups and their adventure outdoors.

We have some changes this week. Come the 9th, Oliver the red sable will depart. He is the first to make the journey. So, tomorrow afternoon he will get a bath. We never do baths the day they depart as it is an added stress, even if they do like it. It is a change. So we try to minimize changes that last day.
So, tomorrow you will see Oliver's wet and dry look. I also have to get everything ready for him to depart. Tomorrow will be a busy day for me plus I have some grooms for others.
Wednesday we will be down to 8 pups. The next one won't go home till Monday. So we will have a large gap with down to 8. Will the dynamics change with 8? It always does. Stay tuned.

We had some potential puppy people over and we took the opportunity to get the pups exposed to even more people. The key to a balanced dog is to get them exposed to many people, places and things in a 'positive' way. When people come over we always try to get one or two to the door.

Oliver the first one from the Adele crew departs on the 9th. Not sure how that happened as it's a tad early but they are ready. I thought the first was the 12th. That means paperwork to do, a bath and a bag and literature to get ready. Oh boy. I am hoping the treats come in on time.

There is so much to do outside. Now if the snow would come so these humans can experience it with us. Selfish I know but hey you get them the rest of their lives. Here is a gallery from today. We had Ruth here (photos and videos tomorrow) and we had Simone here. The puppies had a very full day going otdoors twice and having 2 sets of visitors. Lucky them.
They are amazing pups. Such a delight and they can do stairs. heh
