Two Updates Today: Zoey's Bath Before Home

Zoey was great in the bath. Wasn't crazy about the dryer and didn't mind getting strung up for photos. Each are different.

I am really starting to feel their departures but I am extra busy.

Here are her bath photos.

She is such a sweetheart. They will be missed.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Due to class Rocky's update will be posted today but may be extra late.

Rocky's Bath Photos Before Departure

He was great in the bath. He had his nails trimmed, his pads cleaned and suddenly became a fluff ball. He's not departing till late afternoon so he will get his play on before departure.

Here is his bath gallery.

Tomorrow night we will be down to 7. An Adele and Jeannie pup departs on Friday. I hope their bath goes as well as this one!

Snowy Fun

Adele was having a blast with the pups. It's white stuff out here and it is so much fun.

Check out the gallery.

The pups played with a variety of adults and was outside 3 times today. They LOVED it but now it is starting to go to mush.... not much fun, I am afraid. So last play session will be upstairs.

I can't believe the first one goes home Thursday. That means baths, photos and all that fun stuff.

Be sure to check out the videos. We also got a snow one!~

Departures and Names

The first puppy to go home is Rocky the cream and sable boy. He will be departing on Thursday. Wednesday night he will have his bath. The next one with be the cream and sable girl. Her name will be Zoey. She will depart Friday. The next one will depart on Saturday, the back masked boy and I am not sure I have his name yet - maybe Fidel - maybe not.

I am starting the paperwork and bags tonight. By Saturday afternoon only Miss no name who is remaining will be here from the Adele litter.

As you can see Adele's pups love playing tug so a tug toy will be in your bag to go home with.

Be sure to check out the videos. You will see Nathan getting mauled by the pups and chasing him.

Playing is Fun

They really love these tunnels. They hide, they jump out and they have fun. They are cat tunnels but the dogs, even the adults enjoy them. They also love the houses here.  But get a large if so inclined. You can even put their name on it. You can get it in all colours as she lets you pick the fabric. They also love the shark and fish beds. She is a local person who creates them and mails them to your house. I tell you this in case you are interested. We throw ours in the wash and they last and last.

Now for the not so nice news.

One of our pups during a busy holiday got out the front door and got hit by a car and died. It is why we have a gate across our entryway. Be aware that you have to look at your house and your fence line in case you have exits. This can happen in a split second.

Check out the videos here.

We will also be signing up for a training class. If you are interested in joining us let us know and please let us know if a particiular night is bad. Class is more fun with siblings. It just is.

Pups had a great time today and Dennis is about to take them out to play again.

As soon as possible, after you get your puppy selection, please send us the pertinent info Nathan requests as I have to do the paperwork. Do me a favour and send nathan@potechin.com a mail and copy me darlah@potechin.com

This way you will save me nagging Nathan to check his email. hahahaha

Looks like we have a request for Thursday so the 1st I imagine will go then. Wow. That is only 4 days away. I have paperwork and bags to create.

9 Week Visit

Hmm what is that... a foot? Hoping the humans had fun. I know I enjoyed watching you enjoying. That's part of it too.

Here is the gallery.

I look at this gathering and its the first time we had so many in a closed room. Think of it from the pups perspective. They were invited to a party with lots of humans that they didn't really know.

It was a good conditioniong experience that ended well.

They slept. They are playing now and I wish I slept. hahahaha

Bath Time

By the time I was a work in progress and got to the Adele pups, I was more confident in my photo taking in the midst of bathing. It was interesting but it couldn't have been done if I had unruly pups. These pups are all great.

Here is their bath gallery (the ones I managed to get).

The Jeannie pups were actually more laid back about it all but I wasn't and thus the reality of more photos for the Adele crew. Washing 4 at a time and trying to take photos is not for the faint at heart.

Be sure to check out the videos.

They will be excited to see you. Do not be surprised at who you think is laid back isn't and visa versa. They change a great deal but by now I have a fir, grasp on their personalities.

Till tomorrow....

2 Updates Today

Pups are doing well. No one was sore today. Bravo, little ones. We checked their microchips today with our reader to make sure they all made it in and stayed in. The vet always check after they insert them but I like to check a day later too.

It was way too cold to play outside but we want to get back out again a few times before they depart.

Here is today's gallery.

I have to go wash and trim a dog so short blogs. I am sorry!

Be sure to check out the few videos I was able to upload.

Getting to be Time

When you come to pick up your baby a large sherpa bag (not medium, not small but large) is desirable. It can be any brand of carrier or any design. We will be furnishing a blanket they are used to that will have moms scent on it. They will also have food, treats, grooming spray, shampoo, conditioner, poo bags, a dish for the car and a toy.

Pick up dates and times desirable should be sent to nathan@potechin.com if not done already.

Pups start going home on the 12th.

So it begins.... 1 week from now - wow
