Walks
Let's just say it's dirty out there. I have had to do much brushing and blowing out and wiping feet.
The crew, including the Jazz needs a bath badly but Jazz will get one late tomorrow night or early Friday morning and the rest will get it one at a time.
Rain is coming tomorrow.
It's important to walk your dogs despite the cleanup but wow today just added a load to my 'to do' list. heh

I agree that walks are important even if it is dirty, and I was thinking today, hmmm snowballs on legs or dirty and wet feet,,,but I realize we live in Ontario so we deal with what we have to! But then again I only have 2 to groom :)
You may feel better if you know we are also always (or maybe worse) very wet here in Vancouver. After the walk, with raincoat on, she looks like a wet mop.
I purchased a Metro airforce quickdraw dryer to make the drying done faster. It does help cutting the drying time a great deal, but it is sooooooo noisy. Maybe some higher model will do a quieter job?
I have a Kool Dryer and although they tote it being quiet, it isn't. See http://www.chrissystems.com/kool_dry_dryer.htm I use it on my golden and on moms when I have to wash their back end to get them back to pups fast. It works but it is noisier than I like. I like the dryers I have but they are very expensive. I have the floor model and a tabletop. Tabletop I use on a crate to dry pups but for the adults, I like the stand dryers. They are quiet and do the job well. They are Oster stand dryers. I have 2 that I use on each side to dry faster. See http://www.cherrybrook.com/index.cfm/a/catalog.prodshow/vid/422530/catid/205/vname/Oster_Stand_Dryer I started out with a metro but found it scares the dogs.
Thanks for the information, I will check on those. If the tabletop one is good for pups, it must be quiet too. May I know what it is as well?
Tabletop is an Oster as well. It's cheaper but doesn't have the swivel head like the stand dryer. It's why I bought two stands and now only use my tabletop for crate drying of pups.
